Thanks KS, honestly I had a lot of inspiration for that guy from your Eternal Hunt. If anyone could do a conversion of that guy it'd be you.

Naaa. Thosr commissions always render the heroes. But no actual warden space marine. I think you could do them justice. Really. I wouldn't have asked if I thought otherwise

I don't have any real pictures for you this time around, but I have been working!

 

- My daemon prince, Lord Finch, is having some work done on his wings and I have been experimenting with his skin. Which sounds such creepier than it actually is.

 

- The gorilla Hellbrute from Dreadtober didn't look quite right with a gun, so he now has a greenstuff and random parts melts on his shoulder. I will finish painting that up soon.

 

- I have been trying to update Rogue Trader hero Rhinos to a size more suitable for marines to actually fit in. Experiments with plasticard are ongoing.

I think they are at least closer in size though right? Hopefully I will get pictures of my slightly larger version up soon.

The autocannon is from the Imperial Guard heavy support squads. I have actually shortened it before I painted it.

if you haven't used any washes or drybrushing or similar yet, you can still shave that mold line down (you may want to scrape with an x-acto though).

Oh it will go before I finish up work on him. Going to be an awkward angle is all and per usual it only shows up when you post it somewhere. Didn't even notice it on my blog to be honest, only when I put it up here.

I managed to get some more work on my converted Havocs. Just blocking in a some of the basic colours, starting with the metallics. At the moment they look a lot more like Black Legion but once I get the blue on their they will change legion pretty soon.

 

All the models have been heavily converted to show the scavengers that I want my Havocs to be. Well apart from the chosen who will be the sarge.

They have a lot of work to go before they are finished. Currently looking more Black Legion than Thousand Sons.

So yeah. I may be a fan and yes the movie is as good as I hoped. This is still WIP though. I plan on running him as Cypher if I ever get a game in again.

 

As you can see there is a lot still to be done. In a first for me I have drilled the barrels of the pistols and all.
