Didn't want to go too bright but not really dark either. My old SW scheme was too bright (blood red and badmoon yellow with a lighter grey) they didn't have any of the grit they should have. My initial grey was going to be Vallejo German Grey with a heavy drybrush of dawnstone with a wash of nuln oil. Lol ... That was "too gritty", so I've just added in an extra step of a layer of Vallejo Grey using the previous steps as a guide as to where to layer. I managed to squeeze in washing all the grey models after blocking in the metals before heading out for the school run. Next up is blocking in the metals on the black models and hitting with a wash. Looks like AoD will be getting his support though. :( Tomorrow (well actually later today as it's later than I realised) I'll be seeing my brother and hopefully getting to come over. If successful his vow will be added. :p Painting wise I've decided to slow down a little and not overly rush to beat the first update. SW1 Posted May 22, 2016 Author Share Posted May 22, 2016 Managed to grab a quick 30 mins after work last night. Made progress on the browns on the 2 Njals, 2 Rune Priests and remaining wolf lord. Decided I've cocked up the paint job on Cypher so need to knock him back to black and start again with him. The remaining wolf priests will get some paint very soon. I think having in my head possibly finishing this lot within the first week was a stupid idea as they have so much detail on them.
