And rolled the Dodge for Ganger G, which failed, so he's out of the way too!

So if you either/both want to add anything to your posts showing you cornering Dex, feel free and I'll move us back into narrative time.

With the ganger dead I have added to my post just to show Brynjarr reach the top and set up for Sobek narration.

I'm not psychic (I was tested).

However...I feel an interrogation coming on...

EDIT: We should probably move though, since the Old Bill will likely be on their way.

Are you sure the test was right? ;)

EDIT: We should probably move though, since the Old Bill will likely be on their way.

If you want to move to another part we've already been, or even create something, feel free! (I suppose there might be a certain poetic justice in taking him back to the Site...)

Are you sure the test was right?

You know, they never said?  The nice man with the infinite eyes told me I'd passed, and bought me an ice cream, so that's good right?

From our knowledge of the planet, would we have a clue how fast the Arbites response would be to a 'known' place like this/owned by a gang boss?

To be honest, as far as the Enforcers know at this point it's just a fight in an underhive bar between rival Gangs? So, Tuesday. To my mind, they know better than to get in the middle, and would probably just wait long enough until its calmed down some, then go in and arrest/shoot the survivors? :D

Essentially, you've got time to do this where you are, but if you'd rather move somewhere more secluded, that's cool too?

Cheers Lysi.

@Tro and Sobek, I have an idea, but what do you think we should do?  Soak up the ambience, or move out? At the moment we control the area, but we haven't searched for surprises...

I think discretion is the better part of valor. It would be hard to hear his answers over the screams of dying Arbites. I too like the poetry of taking him back to the Site, but it also might not be wise considering the ruckus we made earlier.

Agreed, staying is probably a bad idea, even if the Law will take a while to show up there may be other gang members who might try to rescue their boss.

I’d be inclined if we gaga him, bandage his face (so that he can’t be recognized) and change any distinctive cloths, then take him with us and rent a room or two at an inn style place that I expect surround the edge of the market. That should give us time ad better security of location than the gangs own club.

Strip him bare (no hidden weapons and will allow a proper search), wrap his noggin, put my travelling robe over him.

Then he's just another weird pilgrim looking for a bed for the night, "escorted" by his travelling companions.  Any screaming or shouting might be put down to "oh he's one o' them self-scourgers" although I have a plan to keep things (mostly) quiet...

Thoughts?

EDIT: Should probably pick up Holger too...

Edited by Mazer Rackham
Sounds great to me Tro. While Holger hasn't got Astartes-level healing, he's physically fit and probably has one or two mortal-level enhancements too, so you should find him in a somewhat recovered state?

Also, to Alpha players, just to be clear I'm happy with how much we've caught up with Beta's storyline and if you have any posts you want to make please do?

(Although I think a few are busy at the moment, so no worries there, but I just didn't want people to hold off from posting because of my previous pause?)

While writing it occurred to me that Brynjarr might pick up and inspect the Heavy Stubber, if it is in working order we might be able to use it.   As such I rolled some dice and halted my post there for now.

Hmm, I should think the Stubber would probably have been damaged when the ganger carrying it exploded?

You might be able to loot a few bullets from the feed for selling or trading though? (I assume they aren't any use to Beta in themselves, as they wouldn't fit in your bolters?)

Just a quickie on interrogations from the great Guy Sclanders:

I think our focus should be Lang, his condition, whereabouts etc.  Thoughts?

How do you guys want to play it?

Sounds good Mazer. As you said priority is mission information such as Lang’s location, security, who he has been selling to and similar.

I would also considering adding to the list of questions who Dex’s boss is (I doubt he is top of the food chain) and resources/numbers that the gang have. Tangential also info on rival gangs, they might have noticed what has happen and try and make their own move, so it would help to know who else might be out there.

Cracking vid, that. I might have to have a look through the rest of his stuff!

His content and advice are generally geared towards D&D, but he's got a good noggin on his shoulders.  Whenever I am faced with a situation I'm not sure how to respond to, he's my..

Go To Guy...:cool.:

Agreed.  We need to be focussed though.  Rival gangs are orbital asteroids, and a turf war isn't our problem.

However, if Dex could turned into an Asset...

Just a thought, but maybe to give some structure to it, we should do Interrogation rolls first, and that will give you an idea of how many questions you have to play with?

So, Dex's WP is 40 but I'll be adding a -10 on that, as being tied up, naked and blindfolded is going to put a dent in even the most self-confident person. (No jokes please! ;))

Target: 30, Roll: 62, Fail!

So, it just depends on Mazer's roll (I assume you'll use Orphiel's stats as he has solid Wp and Interrogation+20?) how many questions you can ask.

Then I guess if you want to ask the first one and I'll answer it, then ask and answer the next, and so on, as each answer might affect what you ask next?

Oh agreed, I was just throwing secondary things to keep in mind out in case we get what we need to know quickly. It be a shame if we get Lang, only to find a Spire Nobel’s Household Guard in our way because we failed to ask if Lang was dealing with anybody else/being sold to anybody else (depending on if he is voluntarily or involuntarily with/held by the Dex’s people).

Unles Sobek has any ideas I think go ahead ane start the proses as per Lys's post, and roll well.

WP roll: 56 + 20 (Interrogation Trained) = 76

D100: 44 PASS, Plus 3 DoS

Target Fails by 3 DoF

Orphiel wins by 6.

I'll throw together some wordy wordy to represent this if you like, GM?

EDIT: We're on.  Let me know if you want it turning down.
