Almost done with these. I need to add a couple of layers to the robes and the lenses, then add a bit of text to some purity seals before basing and weathering. I’ve really enjoyed this mini project and I’m really happy with the variations in the metal.

first layers of oils down. I’m waiting for them to cure before I go in again with more tones. This is a 4 different blues.

Today I did no miniatures, but scribbled out a quick sketch while supervising an exam. This is who blood angels are

I used acrylics and some pastels to add more texture to the blue

yeah, I managed to lose one of his arms, so i converted one from a metal grey knight.

I also got time to base the grey knights and put them on the display board with my blood angels. They look so good compared to the darkness of the 9th

Thanks! I’m looking forward to getting the sisters on there too. I think the three groups will look really good next to each other. I’d like to round it out with some seraphim and sanguinary guard on two types of gold

I’m going over them with mica powder to add some glisten in different colours to their armour and robes

After batch painting the sisters of battle, and not really enjoying the process, I’m going to move onto some terrain boxes again.

I want this board to be really anachronistic. So today I’m laying down some stonework

Now the clay is almost dry (so it has a little flex left) it’s time to caulk it all in place. I’ve also begun thinking about pipes and wires and a strange alien relic
