Lad, you had me at 'Massive Warp Incursion'.

Of course! How could I have been so blind? We should totally summon a greater daemon (read: Delphynie) to provide us with support/cover!

Would I need to roll for acquiring shotgun ammunition?

Depends. You should have a fair chunk on you from your character profile's starting gear, and I think there are a few in the armoury. Have a look in the googledoc folder for the resource tracker. Take what you want from there.

You should roll if you want Legion ammo. Look at the modifiers in the book and make your roll - remember you get one roll per Infamy point but each roll must be for something else.

Yeah....about this...:whistling:

Being too loud taking out the Astropathic relay is a bad idea.  Crashing a ship into it, destroying it via bombs, etc. will all prompt an emergency response from the authorities -- which is the opposite of what we should want for our initial foray.  We want all Imperial authorities, be they on- or off-world, to be kept in the dark as long as possible to delay any kind of armed response to our incursion.  I really think that this should be me and maybe a mortal or two with Stealth training infiltrating the facility to start slitting throats.  Keep it as quiet as possible so that the Imps are in the dark as long as possible.

Only in the Astropathic Choir!

Well, go big or go home, I’d say

Rakash is not going to get back into Huron’s circle of favorite cutthroats just for having a nice personality I’m afraid

MASSIVE WARP INCURSION!  MASSIVE WARP INCURSION!

MASSIVE WARP INCURSIONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

......

So...I don't want to ditch Atesh.  I love him and I'm riding him crazy for my first campaign and it's amazing.

But a massive warp incursion sounds like an awesome end for a character......if Rakash wanted to do something REALLY REALLY COOL and the DM were so inclined....I would be willing to sacrifice Atesh.

But I also understand that could throw a wrench in things too much and y'all were probably just joking about the incursion anyway.

Just sippin' my wiiiiiiiiiiine...

@FabiusV4lcoran it is a good pain!

You know your 'girlfiend' has a picture in her 'dating' profile, right?

Might be catfishing though, no way those things (claws) are real.

Didn't there used to be a respectfully disagree button?  I remember there was debate about it; did they remove it?  Because I wanted that way more than the laugh.

What was that part about being threatened with a good time again?!

OMG how are we doing this?  I'm so excited.  You're the big bad Space Marine sorcerer....

Also, what are the rules on going with Long War veterans for my next character?  I'm gonna follow where the dice take me, but if they suggest Astartes I'd want an NL or maybe a former member of Bile's Consortium.

But back to this.......is there anything we can do just with a big enough pyre?  Maybe we could bring a pink and blue flood to Harville?

Why on earth would you want that, you crazy sausage? With all due respect we really don't do that in here. When we laugh we do it near you, or because of you, never at you.

Having said that, Xin gave me a respectfully disagree once.

I didn't let him pass a Focus Power Test for a week.

Just to pour a little dampener on this - other Players have to have fun too - so we'll see what happens.

It will have to be a Renegade if it's an SM. No Long War Vets in this campaign. Can you be a Night Lord, yes, but there's a whole set of caveats with that one - like there were with Dark Eldar. Your NL has to be like Badgers' Mourn character and be a newbie that left for some reason.

Bile? Only a minor minion. Wouldn't allow anyone of such an advanced archetype in here. If another BC Game is run, well, those stakes might be different.

@Machine God, my disagree is actual a thank you.

@Mazer Rackham I only meant to disagree with the fact that they couldn't be real.

Renegade was exactly what I meant; I should have clarified renegadee associated with the original traitors.  Seriously weakened halfbloods if anything.  Guy who WANTS to be Fabius Bile-type, you know what I mean.  Again, Oleander Koh as a halfblood.

I haven't really felt the yearning to play an Astraeos yet.  But...where do you stand on homebrew chapters with traitor geneseed and a guy who gave in to baser urges?

Generally, I stand behind the firing squad.

I ain't wild on them either but wanted to cover all bases as I tend towards self-censorship.

Don't sweat it. Homebrew SM are perfectly fine in here.

I agree completely about not being loud, that's why I'd make the crash look like an accident? Then everyone is super busy dealing with the aftermath of the 'disaster', but they don't realise the attack has started already. Then the infiltration team could hit a second target (throat slitting style) while their attention is diverted?

But if people think that would be too hard to get aboard the incoming hauler quietly and fake the crash, then I'm cool with just going with the stealth attack.

Being brutally honest, no, you could certainly do that.

However, if you are going to do it that way, why not just hijack a bulk hauler and launch it at Harville from orbit?

Perfectly doable.

Not a terrible idea, but I thought we wanted to loot stuff from Harville. Presumably dropping a bulk hauler from orbit or beyond would turn most of the town into a crater, hence why I thought bring it in closer and just take out 1 building with it?

'There's no such thing as a "small" nuclear explosion.' - Sun Tzu, probably.

I wasn't sure where you were going with it, since dropping a freighter on the Astropathic relay is still going to rack up bricks like a bomb went off in a lego shop, hence my, 'hell why half measures?' post. :HS::tongue:

Crashing a ship into the relay while broadcasting an SOS will make it look like an accident, but will still provoke an emergency response.  A military response may be minimal, but there will be lots of EMS there to dig out survivors.  I'd prefer there as few people there as possible while we're executing the Astropaths.
