I had assumed the mortals were on the Arvus as Obadiah and the Wasp were mentioned in the comms  - if that isn't the case then a re-write is in order :p

TBF I wasn't entirely sure where folks were either, so went with what was up.

I'm not 100% clear, but I think:

Arvus (1st trip) - direct to countryside, drop off Crux'as, Xerxes, Atesh and Rakash.

Crux'as, and maybe Xerxes, heading into Harville to cause disruption, maybe taking some of the pro soldiers in with them?

Atesh and Rakash staying in the countryside to draw the Imperials out (might actually be good Rakash is there, rumours of a traitor Marine will definitely help!)

Then, a day or so later:

Wasp brings Obadiah and Tarh towards the Astropath Tower (and gets caught - stupid us for not changing the Wasp's transponder!)

Same time, Arvus' 2nd trip brings Varne and team to docks.

Leaving at same time, so arrive on Bounty maybe half an hour or so behind the others, is the Starhawk hiding behind the freighter-bomb, carrying Hagga, Eska, Ukalegon, Mourn and Kraggan.

Does that sound right to everyone?

No worries. Again, they haven't been challenged so go in undetected. These Players can post about the rendezvous/descent/landing at will.

Yep they can begin these operations as soon as the link-up with the rebels is made.

Yep, we can assume the post I made is what transpires on that front.

No sweat, Varne/Mojake will have to hold off until other matters are resolved.

As my above answer.

Appreciate the collation of details.

Looks legit, let's go.

Is it not the Arvus' second go around, though?

Plan was very much for Crux'as (and other mortals, I think?) to be planetside first, so he could initiate his plans for the PDF commander? And Atesh was going out to the rebels in the countryside (with Rakash apparently?)

All that was supposed to happen before the military infiltration drops started?

It's all got a bit rushed somewhere...

Could be my bad, I think I read somewhere to start moving people aboard the transporters, I may have confused that message as being meant for me when it wasn't.

@Mazer Rackham please put V-dog in the bag of holding now until late Sunday. I'll be able to check in now and again but won't catch up on the ooc if there's a lot of posts so would appreciate a @ or DM if you need something

Instructions unclear, jump pack now attached to tortoise, who refuses to return it. Please advise.

No sweat. ;)

So that was why Mithra was so speedy!

You should be able to see both Lesser Minion version and draft Normal Minion version in the minion page of Tarh’s Character sheet in the Google docs folder.  Normal version is still in Draft as I wanted Mazer to have another look over before I use her (and I am also still debating swapping out Quadruped (as she is kinda fast! after the upgrade) for Regeneration or Unnatural Toughness).

Everything looks good from my end.

The extra speed Mithra was getting from Quadruped in the normal minion level was not sitting right with me. Yes Mithra is technically a quadruped, and in lesser minion form it made sense as it resulted in decent movement for a beast that size without feeling too slow or fast to me. However with the increased AG stat and having a resultant move of 8/16/24/48 was not ok, she is a tortoise after all and not a horse.

I have therefore removed Quadruped Trait and added Unnatural Characteristic  - Toughness (3) in its place (as TB6 and extra wounds add survivable and feel appropriate). I also rejigged stats slightly to hit Ag 30 which after factoring in the Size modifier gives a movement of 5/10/15/30, slower by one step then lesser minion version but narratively I can chalk that up to the extra weight from barding, howdah, fun and so on making her move slightly slower than before.

If this ok then Mithra is finalised and I have tidied up the minion sheet for clarity. If not ok can easily revert to the version as approved by your above post.

It's going exactly according to the only plan that matters, my friend.  Tchar is pleased.

Apologies for being out for the last day or so, wasn't feeling great and had to deal with the spawn's stuff a little more than I wished (lots of karate). I'll work up a post with Xerxes/Atesh/Rakash/Crux'as arriving on Bounty before the current...issues, and then splitting up to start their separate saboteur actions.

I had my daughter (7 yrs) roll that Agility test before she and her mother left for school.  She was really sad that she rolled so low until I told her that lower is better in this game.  The she started capering around like she'd won the lottery.

This may have knock-on for the freighter capture, so the capture team will have to decide to go now, or wait 72 hours for the freighter to once again be in position for assault due to scheduling.

Just to check on this point of timing, Crux'as and co are currently 2 days ahead of what is happening to the Wasp, right?

Which of those 2 time points are we at aboard the Razor? I'm assuming we are still at the 2 days earlier point, where the Arvus has just left on its 1st trip.

Therefore, it's way too early to hijack the freighter? How long does it take to go back to the surface? A few hours?

But if the next one is in 72 hours, that would put us a whole day behind Obadiah and Tarh, which is not ideal, the idea was to hit everything more or less at once?

That's about the size of it.

Sigh. If we had been given this 72 hr cycle info before now, we probably would have got Obadiah and Tarh to delay another 24 hours before taking the Wasp in, so that all of the 3 assault teams would be hitting the surface at approx the same time?

Oh well, too late now. With the Wasp getting spotted and knocked out of the sky, it looks like the assassination team will now have 24-ish hours to hide/sneak their way into the Astropaths tower before the main assault starts?

By the way, I was going to suggest that when the Starhawk leaves the Razor, we only use an initial short thruster burn and coast to intercept the freighter in orbit, is that ok? Takes longer, but it should make us much, much harder to spot? So we'll need to leave the Razor with enough lead time to get where we need to be to board the freighter?

That information could not be obtained by Xerxes at the time, since it was behind a firewall he couldn't get to. Events that occurred superseded those opportunities.

If they survive the crash, avoid the fully alert city, and evade the already in place CP's (Checkpoints), yes.

The Freighter is automated, so you can handle all that narratively as you prefer.

Calling it now, Tarh dies and I spend the rest of the game role-playing a giant tortoise that dose not want to be eaten and is looking for a nice habitat on this new planet.
