Tell you what, I'll split the difference. How many bombs were you going to deploy, all in?

Probably 4 for the specific purpose of flooding the docks - thinking about what your standard lock looks like, I imagine one placed at each end (for two locks) should cause enough water displacement to mess things up - especially given the proximity to what looks like a huge river. Obviously scales and numbers in Warhammer are subject to the whims of Tzeentch so if these are locks the size of a battleship hangar bay then I'll probably have to use up my entire stock (8 charges).

Tarh is welcome to join me infiltrating the city and slitting a few throats!

Tarh was initially a Scout/Ranger kind of build, so can certainly do so.

I guess Mithra isn't super suited to sneaking, but she could come in on the dropship with the Astartes, Kraggan(?) and Eska, and rejoin Tarh when we meet up?

Throw on some camo netting, stick some bits of of shrubbery on, that should be stealthy enough yes?

I am happy for Tarh to go with either deployment, really depends on what the team needs, a mortal scout with longlas or a armoured giant Turtle with autocannon acting as a mobile heavy weapon emplacement (assuming that what I remember from the beginning of the year when I was working out the intended upgrades for Mithra is workable and gets GM approval - looking into that tonight).

We promise we won't try to eat the big delicious tortoise... :whistling::laugh:

People keep saying that! I* am suspicious as to all of your motives.

*For new player context, Tarh got stuck with Paranoia / Conspiracy theory mental disorder thingy from a terror/fear something or other. At the time the conspiracy theory was that @Xin Ceithan character was secretly trying to get us all killed, but I may need to shift that over to everybody wants to snack on pet turtle. Which given that Tarh rescued her from being served up at Irok's  feast might not be too far fetched, not paranoid if they are out to get you!

Just to check, this is the freighter to turn into a missile, right? Not for sneaking people planetside? (I think they are using the Wasp and Arvus?)

Also, regarding taking control of the freighter, I would say the more reliable method would be to put a real pilot aboard? However, that means finding a pilot who hates the Arbites enough that they would be willing to die to take them out... have we got anyone like that on the Razor?

Yes.

I hadn't planned for it, but I'm sure there is. Just throw somebody in the pilot seat and whack him around the head.

Cool.

Also, I'd say we wanted to get the sneakies back on Bounty before we hit the freighter, give them enough time to set up? (I think Crux'as had more plots to put into effect, etc?)

So maybe the next freighter, or perhaps this one on its next trip up and down? Can we be observing its movements this time, so we know for the next time?

Yes, you can do - just be advise the more loitering you do, the more risks you run of being noticed. Currently, it's very low.

I'm fine with strapping some poor sod into the pilot seat, but Ukalegon is rather a dab hand at atmospheric flight, so we could do that too if desired.

All that Infamy wearing a hole in your codpiece, is it?

Sorry, just posted IC but I can delete? I suppose Ukalegon can jump pack away just before impact? If you'd rather do it, I'll remove my last post?

@Mazer Rackham Infamy is a river.

Nah it's fine. It probably makes more sense that Ukalegon would bail out at a more appropriate time for a suitably cool dynamic entry.

Your options are probably with any of the groups;

either with the infiltrators aboard the Wasp (maybe go along with Xerxes?)

with Varne on the Argus (sort out the demolitions between them again?)

or with the kill-squad aboard the Starhawk (more combat focused, but Kraggan probably happy with that?)

I know Kraggan is kinda untrusted by the team, but justifications can be made for all options, and as a player I should think you've still got the  choice?

Kraggan will attach to the Kill-Squad aboard the Starhawk.

Varne can do his own Demolitions without Kraggan babysitting him.

Yes, he needs to get down to safely set up our explosive transfers through the lockdown and to get in touch with the "rebel" nobles to kick-start some potential problems for the PDF/get access documents for thievery. Xerxes should probably go with him to set up the compromised servitors.

Who's going sneaky-style?  Just Obi and Tarh?

Looks like it, though am trying to sneak Mithra along as well...

Tarh cannot provide good melee suport on a stealth mission (or any mission, but stealth and knifework was mentioned), but scouting, spotter and long range sniper suport can be provided.

Once you've agreed who you're partnering up with, gang, just pick your craft, go ahead and post your descent (but not your landing, as I will have interactions to complete with you).
