Never had an issue customizing push fit models. Just a different tactic to modify compared to multi part kits. The building and kit bashing is my favorite part.

Agreed. I wolfed up my monopose BGVs from 9th edition and they came out so well I still run them as Headtakers.

As usual Karhedron taking the opportunity to flex with his nicely painted and classic-base-rocking Marines.

I'm cool with pushfit stuff for starter sets, I suppose my issue is that A: some units never get non-pushfit models, especially if they have the misfortune not to be Space Marines (the Termagant kit is basically pushfit/monopose, and whilst it does at least have the weapon sprue that doesn't do anything to solve the repeated pose problem) and B: a lot of newer push-fit kits are still quite complex and fiddly. Sure they don't need glue to assemble, but they're made up of lots of small parts with bespoke connections which aren't necessarily beginner-friendly, which is a bit of a problem for a starter set. We're a long way past the old "body, bolter, backpack" pushfits that's for sure!
