havocs are done, the champion needs a overhaul but the four autocannon havocs are ready to cut down anyone that standa in there way with a rain of bullets, the pictures are still a little too much glare on them but not too bad most of the highlights and details are visable

im quite happy with them, would love some feedback on what you all think, and if these are worthy of blessings from the gods of chaos.

first obliterator done, working on the other one, while i was finishing it up i was listning to "if i had a heart" that some of you might know at the intro misic to the vikings tv series, really like listning to music or audiobooks while i paint, anyways enough mad rambling from me, hope you like my custom oblits and havoc, and may the gods of chaos favor them in battle

Wow, the fire support looks awesome. I don't think the obliterator legs need bulking up. The photos look a bit overexposed though.

I didn't say they did in my last post. They actually look great now which is why I asked that.

The OSL looks pretty awesome on all of them and the obliterator does too. Did you wind up bulking up the legs a bit more? I never listen to music while painting but I usually watch tv shows or movies while painting.

added the hip plates right after i got those sculpted and cast, was hard getting them into place the cables were in the way, most likely you be able to see it better on the pic above without paint

i know, the lamp i have isent great it leaves alot of glare on the models, sadly cant be helped atm, hoping to get that fixed at some point :)

Wow. And I've just noticed the repositioning of the legs. How did you do that and have it look so right?

on the havoc or oblit? and i usely just cut the feet free then move one leg at the hip

"Just cut the feet free". You make that sound so simple. I've done that once. Bloody nightmare!

here is how i do it

1 is the knife i use

2-5 is cutting

1a is the legs in bits then the files i use to clean the parts hip feet mounting and so

6 test fit with poster taq, if im happy with the look i replace the taq with superglue ;)

A Stanley knife! How many fingers do you have left?

last time i checked all 11, not sure how you were taught to use knifes, but clearly you need reschooling ;)

i see a finger and thumb so he can still hold minis so its all good

very nice work again thamier .that oblit is soo cool ,nice glowing effect sir:tu:

thanks glad you approve, still want to do even better glowing effects

Beautiful models and the osl on them looks terrific.

Now if only GW made oblits that looked like yours....

thanks, thats a nice compliment

Freaking glorious man, I need more Obliteration!!!

thanks brother, when my thread grows up, it wants to be just like yours :)

I'm good. Just don't like how the blades have a slight movement in the handle with those knives. Prefer a scalpel with a nice sharp edge. Or a jewellery saw ;)

i like it fir the weight and power of the cut, cant donthat with my scalpel it would snap, so i just apply slight pressure on the blade and then when it stoped moving i cut :)

Are you gonna sell these? I'd buy 6!

the qualety on these arnt giod enough for that

I'd beg to differ on that mate. I think the quality is just fine

Seconded. I'd buy them too: At the very least, they are a heck of a lot better than any Obliterator model produced by GW so far.

Amazing stuff, mate! Seriously! :)

maybe i can get a job at GW and produce some new stuff :)

I agree with the others, these are great and I'd buy them in a heartbeat. I love the mechanical feel of these oblits rather than the bio-organic feel of the current GW ones.

thanks Tanith, very happy you guys approve of them and i nitices im getting more and more likes, so looks like im on the right track, as for selling i dont know what the future will bring, will just have to wait and see.

and if any of you are locals here in northern part of sweden there is a chance we might meet the 29-30 marchbat the fanatic turnament, and if i somehow should make it into the best in show i appricate it if you wote for my army ;)

im spending all my free tine in a painting frenzy trying to get everything ready, but like here on b&c the talent at the fanatic is at a crazy high level, and i am not sure if i can compete, many also told me that my big disadvantage is that my conversions are too hard to spot, they say it looks too natural, so just plowing on hoping for the best.

i really should be asleep now have to get up in a few hours, but cant seem to stop thinking and planing
