first bike done, as you can see its a dark angel ravenwing from the dark vengance starter box, only slightly converted

 

even got it magnetized

the shouldr marking was a bit tricky, considering makeing the star around it slightly biger, and can you guys see its supposed to look like a sword?

The shoulder marking definitely looks like a sword to me. I'd say you've nailed it!

the bikes are finally done, just lord sorc and drakes left to do the next two days

so im pretty happy with the way they turned out and the squad markings and osl on them, even had some fun with the bike displays

and as you can see, 3 of the squad are the converted ravenwing bikes from the dark vengance box, one of them have a magnitized banner pole that used to be a wing

 

 

almost forgot, was orginnaly going to name the squad hellblades but thats already used, so have to think of something else, with sword or blade causecof he marking on thir shoulder

This is a great looking army man, just went through it all now and I have to say I am very impressed. It's easy to go OTT on the OSL, but you have it just right - and good choice on the green, a colour which really pops (I use something similar for my power weapons)

 

Your vision and conversion skills are great, I wasn't to sure about the oblits when you first started them but - wow - they are excellent, they really are.

 

I hope you don't mind me stealing some ideas (notably the objective markers :) )

thanks really had fun painting those, and the trim on those was some of the first chaos trim i ever sculpted, gotten alot better but no way im going back and redoing them ;p

the sorc is done now, the lord is also on the verge a few more layers of glow from shoulder pad onto his backpack, then he is done, now two heldrakes to overhaul

highlights really helped and adding osl to eyes gems and shoulderplate was fun, didnthe demon skull freehand as always and the pattern on the cloak too, was really fun to do

And here i thought my Scratchbuild Skyshield landing pad was already looking decent with some flames around a Tzeentch icon on it. Need to step up lolz.
