And here i thought my Scratchbuild Skyshield landing pad was already looking decent with some flames around a Tzeentch icon on it. Need to step up lolz.

 

 

Nice work.

 

 

Sidenote: funny that the army iam planning has that colourscheme of yours in reverse, although with green eyes.

would love too see your skyshield landing pad, have a link to it? and its tzeentch chaos army?

 

The freehand on the cloak is magnificent, but I can only have one 'favourite bit'! :lol:

Looks like an awesome army to play or fight against!

  

 

i hope so, did first of 5 games lost first one got 0 points so far 4 games to go

 

@Thamier: sadly i havent got a pic of it yet. It will be a Slaanesh/Tzeentch army, why choose when you can have both.

  

okay, and you are right, think ill have to make some units dedicated to all of the gods

 

They look really good together, and those oblits.... :wub:

aww thanks you guys! it might look good but im horrible at the game played the first 3 games of the 5 and lost two by max so got 0 points then got one win 14 of 20, so not going well at all, so i really hope that i will get lots of wotes tomorrow, all players in the tournament will look at the 8 armys that got choosen, so now its all up to them who wins, and the 7 others are really talented unsure if i can compete, will have to wait and see, would be so nice if i actualy won something, then all the hard work would have payed off, would be nice to win something.

If this army doesn't win anything, it's not the army that sucks: It's the competition itself ;)

 

It goes without saying that I wish you the best of luck, but don't forget that all your hard work has already paid off: You now have a stunning army, full of awesome, smaller and bigger conversions, and painted to a brilliant standard. Plus many people here on B&C (myself among them) are fans of this army. That has to count for something too, you know ;)

Don't forget too that a lot of tournament players go for the most broken OP combinations as they can to win. And losing to those isn't something to be ashamed off when most of them will be looking at your army through jealous eyes.

the tournament players here are really nice, and happy to offer pointers and such, but i still consider myself a new player, and have lots of things to learn, that and i think i have the world record in rolling 1s

 

but hoping that i atlest will win this lat match in a bit need a good win to get a better result than last tournament.

there all done, was a good tournament, but didnt win anything, and ofcourse i got my hopes up, im just not good enough, and its fun to play but loss after loss is not that fun, my girlfriend talked me into not giving up, goving the next tournament another chance if that dosent work out inthink illjust stick to painting a bit at home now and then

You don't have to play in tournaments all the time either. See if you can get together with some of the guys you met there for some friendly games instead of in a tournament setting. I've never played in a tournament, just games against friends a couple of times a month and it is really fun.

Agreed man, I used to play tournaments but the emphasis on winning really brings out some of the worst in rules-lawyering and really drowns the spirit of the game. If you have some friends that play I would just form a group and organize some regular game nights, drink beer, eat some food, and play games for the hell of it.
