Browsing back through your log I came across your obliterators. I compared them to my own and was found wanting, so today, I changed that and made a brand new one. It's possibly the best model I've ever made, no where near as imposing in stature as yours, but still a sight to behold. Thank you for inspiring me to do better, once he's painted (and I find the charger for the camera) I'll unleash him on the forum.

hehe, well mainly its cause i havent really had time, been very very busy, but soon ill catch up, need to get my thread here warmed up again, and get some of my videos edited and uploaded to my youtube channel too.

im not dead, its just RL got in the way and my new scedule is not hobby friendly at all!

have been spending what free time to finish up my call of chaos! have had to settle for tabletop qualety on most stuff but atlest i can play with them.

 

also, christmas came early!

got a nice deal on 3 boxes and even got tge pins and otger swag along with a ton of bits from a good friend incluuding 30k bits.

no such thing as overkill, sides it was a good price for them, gonna be making my sons of horus army, not sure what style but leaning twirds chaosy battle at terra sons of horus.

 

you local store got a 150boxes and last time i checked he had under 60 left.

so think there be alot of 30k here :)

with a bit of leg converting i have bits to make 110 mark iv marines even got a extra dreadnought so will have 4 of those too and then 15 terminators will convert alest 5 to justarin :)

one more thing, now we are talkong 30k. Do any of you have ither text or pictures that depict how the sons of horus looked by then? full out chaos? or normal ? same colours and such?

Luna Wolves: White with black details (Wolf and moon symbol), so before Horus was made Warmaster

Sons of Horus: green and black (Eye of Horus) Heresy

Black Legion: Black with goldand/or silver details (Eye of Horus/Chaos star hybrid design) after Horus' death

what im wondering is if during the battle of terra if the green sons of horus have all chaosy looking armour, horns spikes? chaos trim?

noting found from googleing, and its long before they merged into black legion

Yeah, that was basically what I was referring to.

Also there was the arrival of top-knots and armour scars after the Cthonians were added to the legion.
