Awesome. The bike needs a longer fork and ape hangers though. The forces of Chaos are not supposed to have such a sensible design

never really been a fan of long forked bikes, i guess my chaos are just too lazy to make big changes to thir bikes, not sure what aoe hangers are, and what sort of apes is best for hanging on bikes?

Ape hangers are a type of handlebars:

I think they got that name because riding on such a bike puts you in a pose similar to this:

Also doing ridiculous choppers superficially fits with the rebel theme of chaos.

I love getting inspiration for my DV chosen, not one of them will remain whole. Great work

thanks, very glad you got inspired.

Wow this entire thread...top notch

That vindicator scratch build is awesome well done brother.

I love all the poses you've achieved too

thanks, its only a vindicator upgrade, but when i get time ill go big and build a warhound, atleast thats the plan

hope you like it, for the chaos gods!!

Looks good man. My favorite parts are the head and that mace, did a great job with those in particular.

thanks, the mace i plan on using as black mace, or power weapon even ccw, and the face i took my tile its one of the first places ppl look.

Really good bud - but I think you need to weather it a bit more. Just looks factory fresh rather than 10,000 years of war, y'know? Even just around the wheels/bike section - I think it would just add some grit to it!

i know, been avoiding it, havent done weathering before, but also saving it, its a detail that can be added afterwards, i did the same with trophies, so when i played with a model a few games then as a veteran ill try and add weathering, and with trophys ifbi defwat an oponent with a food margin then i ask if its okay ill use his/her army colours, then paint up those on the thripies on my models, so far i have some ravenguard helmets on some of my models :)

so i personally feel that the army evolves as time passes.

oh almost forgot, been painting a plague its comming along slowly http://i942.photobucket.com/albums/ad269/thamier/work%20in%20progress/2F7BFDBA-7520-45A2-9F94-14BD24BD8D3E.jpg

i hope you guys like them, looking forward to the comments and sugestions

I love the cables from them and especially like the knife wielding marine. Where is that knife from?

thanks, the blades i used are from the skeletal warriors for vampire counts

A far better take on plague marines, I really like it, I may have to use this with your permission of course

sure go ahead, i dont mind at all, if you like it then use it, for chaos! ;)

Can't believe you'd even suggest getting rid of the old paints.

I have a cheeky request though. Next time you reposition some legs could you post a step by step please. The walking poses you have are brilliantly done. And the GS torn cloth/skin pics are great for people trying to get ideas and improve :tu:

I would never get rid of old paints, only if they are ruined dryed out or so, im gonna use them ll up.

and sure i can do a step by step on the legs, what i did was cut the free free carefully, then just moved one leg at the hip.

then filled ib any gapa with grey stuff.

the tirn cloth i did by placeing a bit of grey stuff on a teflon mat pressing it flat sculpting base folds then putting it on the model fir finishing touches.

As much as I renounce all heretics, I do enjoy the Balefire Legion. The luminescent green 'cracks' are great.

thanks, the seeds of chaosness is taking hold soon you join our ranks agest the corpse emperor ;)

i plan on adding more green markings and runes to all of them, as shoulder markings and more.

but it will have to wait a bit.

They look great, but thing I applaud you for is bending bass strings, it is very hard to do that neat and clean especially on small pieces.

i used to work with smithing and jewelcrafting, so i have lots of tools, the trick is bending it while its still long, then cut it and make minor ajustments after.
