im looking forward to it too, but still its a long list of things i also really want to do before these, need more time :P

 

not sure if i need to do any converting on these, the sculpts are great and like the diffrent poses, so might just be assembly and paint.

some of you may know the podcast combatphase i got my hands on this awsome dreadclaw from kenny lull, it needs some cleaning up and a bit of restoration but it be great for my Sons of Horus

its oky i checked before i sarted, otherwise i wouldent have seted on my sons of hourus until next year, was told its okay we do it this way. a traitor marine with a missile launcher is after all a marine with millsile launcher so if its in the csm book or the other chaos books it should be okay, i was kinda worryed that the betrayal at catlh box would break the ETL, cause AoD would outweight all of rhe other teams toghter ...

I can respect that man, but until 40k Night Lords have rules that reflect their feel as well as 30k rules do, I'm staying firmly in the AoD (Age of Darkness)

Honesty just teasing, tbh, I want a good down to the wire battle in ELT, and I have the same worry. Through I think codex marines could be a dark horse, they have a very strong codex now.

yes but still i really hope the moderati will adress this otherwise it might kill the entire ETL, ppl might really want to paint their new betryal at calth models and feel they have to run them under 30k instead of their normal team and if 80% of the ETL is HH then might aswell not bother competing

yup it was a shortish one and hopefully i have some time to relax now, well after painting, finished the first 20 marines last night, last 10 then dreadnoughts and finally the characters

life have been hectic been fogusing alot on everyday stuff and studys, its been so long i had to read up on my own thread, sad i know.

sorry for being away this long, hopefully ill have time to keep the thread up to date, havent hobbyed alot but still have some exciting things to show.

 

so been talking to a local guy here about the models i sculpted myself that i use as standin oblits, and i thought ill share the results with you all, sadly its a bit of a standstill because i cant afford the matrials, i owe the guy for making these for me

he made a silicone rubber mould off my sculpted model and did some resin test cast, was a few air bubbles and we had to do some small rweaks but the result isent bad

i think most of you know the model by now when i made it i didnt make full arms or a head for it , choosing to convert each of them individually.

here we tested gluing obe togther its the size of a spacemarine centurion :)

 

even have a few of the ones i did in greystuff myself with pressmoulds, but dont know if i should even try to assemble those now i might be abel do them all in resin.

 

 

 

 

something completely diffrent and most likely a waste of my time but couldn't resist doing it, my old model toolbox was literally falling to bits, held together by tape! So I thought it was a good idea to start building one myself, plastic card out and suddenly...

in other news i been working on my sons of Horus force and spendt a loooooong time removing mouldlines from droppods, still haven't glued them together yet because i wanted to paint them inside, and now its so cold outside it might not be possible to basecoat them.

last we have one of a few projects, i know that i should be focused on one project, but i just keep building more and with the call running i really want to join that but i feel it be unworthy to do sons of horus for that so need to build some real 40k models to paint, but at the same time i really want to finish with my sons of horus as soon as possible, ranting aside here is my wip primus medicae, that is going to join Horus the warmaster in battle,im making him from the terminator character from the betrayal at calth

think it be a bit of a mix of 30 and 40k in the near future, also gonna see if i can show some more pictures of the old and new obliterator bitz.

 

the toolbox works great have my files tweeezers glues and knives and players and a few other things in it, and it fits snugly in my workdesk! :)
