Great conversion! How do you manage to do such clean cuts? I've also changed horns sometimes but I always have to greenstuff the union hitch the helmets for them to fit! Also the ones of the head on the right seem a bit low to me, but I suppose it's intentional.

thanks! not sure did like normal score carefully with sharp scalpel, then cutting a bit also didnt try to save the helmets the horns came from so when i had to cut tonthe side i took vare to cut away helmet to spare the horns, after that i filed the base and cut away a bit on the mk 3 helmet, test fittet cut a bit more test fitted again filed a litte and so on. the last one was a litte low inagree but it still works :p

Maloghurst! That is the most accurate depiction I have seen to date, looking forward to seeing the rest of him completed!

that is what i was going for :) and i only gotten a hold of 3 picturers of Maloghurst and reallly want to capture the right look of him, so help and suggestions is very apricated, currently im trying to work out what his backpack looks like, its hard to make out, what do you guys think?

The Maloghurst conversion is going to be 'uber' exciting! There are some very good ones out there, but I've a sneaky feeling this is going to be pretty special!

thanks i hope you are right its taking aloooong time to build :)

Very impressive green-stuf mojo Thamier. I just blasted through the whole thread and was already floored at the Obliterator, then came the Justaerin and now the Twisted. What is awesome is the progression that is visible through the thread. The work you did on the obliterator was already great if a bit coarse, but the finesse you now manage to attain with the stuff is now nothing short of remarkable.

Great work !

That Maloghurst WIP is already looking brilliant -- your already considerable sclpting skills seem to be improving in leaps and bounds!

I hope you'll be giving the Warmaster's equerry a suitably mischievous and crooked pose, in order to hint at both his inner corruption and the fact that he is no longer combat-worthy in the classical sense after his accident.

I think the backpack might be like Ahriman's with 4 vents instead of the standard 2, but I'm not 100% sure either. And just wow that model is seriously perfect, he's definitely going to be worth the wait to see completed

i kinda think so too altest from the one picture, but cant tell on the others, anyone else have ideas?

Oh my gaw, that Maloghurst. Stunning.

What's that head from?

thanks, im quite happy with it myself, the head i got from a friend, its from the forge world world eaters upgrade pack

Really, really awesome. The spikes on the gorget are amazing, I'm sure it'll turn out great!

thanks, as i said its the tools :)

i plan on making him a bit hunched thats why i removed the lower part of the torso, also aiming for the look as if he is supporting himself with the banner staff.

thank you all for all the posetive feedback, so many compliments, im feeling very motivated to plow on ^^

again thank you all

I'm inclined to agree with a 4 vent powerpack, not only due to the art but I think a more 'bulky' pack will help convey his injuries requiring more power. I might be inclined to make it a little steam punky with vents and cabling.

You are on the right track with the crippled hunched pose. Leaning on the banner is a good idea - although the art suggests he might have borrowed Fabius' pimp cane!!

i want to stay close to the artwork, and wasent sure if it was two vents or simple guy standing behind him only vent from powerpack showing or it infact was a dual vent one

That Jugger Herald looks great, but the price for best recent addition goes to Maloghurst. That's pretty much a spot on conversion/sculpt you made there,  buddy. Most impressive indeed.

i know its hard to compete with the twisted, but i am quite happy with the haral, gonna build hounds of khorne to run with him :)

in almost done business building my 30/40k chaos marines i been sculpting chaos details onto the 30k bitz but im unsure if i should only do light chaosing on those parts so they still look like 30k bitz or full trim so they blend in, again would like to hear what you all think

This pretty much sums up my thoughts in a nutshell. Maloghurst is fantastic, the additions to the Juggernaut look great too :tu:

that made me a little confused but okay :) and Typhus was so long ago can barely remeber it

the 30/40k marines here is one in progress, i didnt know what to do with his left arm didnt want him to cover the chest and also didnt want to model him with close combat weapon, so hoping this will work, let me know what you think

Great herald! The skull shoulder pad is amazing. On regards of the marine, I would try to make him look like if he's throwing a grenade, with his arm extended backwards and frag/krak grenade on hand. If you don't like the idea you could go for the same pose that you have now but with an ammo clip on the hand for the bolt pistol, though the plain fist is already fine.
