KrautScientist
Loving the PIP model, the silver mask and toes work much better! As for the retooled guy, I love the mask (from the Dark Elf Executioners, right?), but the sword still seems like a bit of a problem atm. For one, the angle seems iffy: The whole model exudes motion and dynamism, yet it's holding the sword at a perfect 90 degrees angle? Normally, the hand itself would need to be slightly angled -- maybe you could try a different Raptor arm? It also looks quite Slaaneshi (due to being a Dark Elf sword): If you're fine with that, then everything's okay -- just thought I'd point it out since the last few models have had a more Khornate vibe. Turning the head would also be a good idea: I think this guy needs to look along his clawed gauntlet, but you should just experiment until you're happy with the pose. Skrundle87
These are looking awesome, where's the head on your lord from? That would be perfect for my Jugger lord! Krautscientist nailed it it's the dark elf executioner. I'm torn mmyself weather to use it for this model or my Termi Lord As for the weaponry I have been toying with the idea of buying the chaos daemons skukktaker, using his sword and scoring a pretty sweet cape at the same time. As for the overall pose, definately like the sound of those pointers, Watch this space

Biohazard
Man you really are knocking this one out the park. I like the way you've adapted the soul grinder leg plate to make the shield and the use of the gargoyle bits is inspired. And I actually quite like the idea of the spiky shoulder pad. Not sure about the spine piece on top of the armour though.
Skrundle87
Cheers man, I reckon the spine will look a lot better when it's moulded in better
Quixus
Awesome. I just think a daemon head as coat of arms for a daemon looks weird.
Squeaky
Wow that's a blistering start and nice detailing :D looks like it's going to be a true beast of a machine.
Olis
It's going to be a great Chaos Knight. Little things like the marine and the mouth the stubber barrel really add flavour and help the more major components seem less incongruous. It's a Daemon Engine and a half. ;)
Skrundle87
Thanks guys, im real happy with how this is coming along, I've done a bit of a re-pose of the legs, not sure what he will be standing on yet, just on an armour plate for now http://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/af171/skrundle87/Mobile%20Uploads/IMAG0520_zpsovnhayga.jpg And a close up of the new head I reckon I'll use http://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/af171/skrundle87/Mobile%20Uploads/IMAG0510_zpszaylhspt.jpg
the Belgian one
WOAH ! it's gettin' interesting ... no fan of the dead marine on the shoulder ... maybe you should take a more important marine... ( captain or something ) and a lot of chains to fix him !
Skrundle87
Cheers belgian one, the dead marine and lack of chains are just a rough mock up, will be wrapped in chains properly when done
Skrundle87
I have mocked up a few head changes. Thought mandibles would look cool, dont think they have turned out so I think I'll stick to the first design, here they are anyway Mandibles http://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/af171/skrundle87/Mobile%20Uploads/IMAG0515_zpsdmbhsybz.jpg Both http://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/af171/skrundle87/Mobile%20Uploads/IMAG0511_zpsn7r19zml.jpg Original http://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/af171/skrundle87/Mobile%20Uploads/IMAG0509_zpsr3ipmufy.jpg As I said I'm most likely to stick with the first plan, any ideas otherwise? Rift Blade
Really like what you're doing. Can't decide which of the last 2 heads looks better but either look great. Maybe it would change with the leg plates on but with the Soul Grinder's body on, 1st thing pops in to mind when I saw the assebled shot was midget. Midget with an attitude but still midget. Maybe loose part of the front body from say just below the chest plate down?? Just my thoughts. Please don't stop what you're doing though. Looking forward to seeing more. deathspectersgt7
Looking peachy instead of a loyalist Marine maybe you should put a Rival Warlord on the Pad.
daemonclaw
coming together nicely mate personally i like the head with just the mandibles
Biohazard
I think those horns are a little too skinny. Are those from the Tzeentch standard? If you're not going to use the Soul Grinder sword the horns on that should be a pretty good fit.
Skrundle87
Cheers for the advice guys, I'll see what I can fiddle about with next time I get a chance And yes biohazard they are, I had begun to think they werea bit thin, that's why I gave an additional crack at the head, ill see if I can chop em off the sword

Skrundle87
Cheers man, I'd be honoured if you'd steal the idea, it'd be cool to see someone elses take on the idea I'm pretty excited to see the end result myself haha
Chaeron
Loving the way this is shaping up - but it makes his legs look slightly weedy. So you know what you need to do ;)
