Yeah the Orlocks look awesome!

They were already my favorites choice before because I was multi-purposing them as Chaos Cultists (and because I liked their style) but these models sealed it. They'll be mine for sure. Maybe Cawdor will be my second gang if they are just as awesome even tho I never planned to have more than one gang. :D

You can't have enough gangs in the Underhive (and beyond!). Will defo have to paint all of them down the line :whistling:

Cool. Still waiting for Arbites

You will get them :p

Those zone mortalis tiles look great with the extra bits added. Looking forward to seeing where you go with that.

Can't wait either - did some progress on Typhus today :blush.:!

Looking good! Admriing all the detail work you've done to realize not only his scythe not shown but his back and shoulder pads too! He is one, big fella!

Thanks buddy - and yeah, he finally has the right size :teehee:

Little teaser - still need to finish the cloud/flies and his base!

Very cool. The white helmet really pops in contrast with the bone-ish white armor so it's easy to recognize him as Typhus while he still fits in with the rest of the army. :)

He looks rad already! Will he be getting some bodyguards in the future?

Yeah of course! I plan to do the Terminators, more Plague Marines aswell as some tanks in the future - but I want to work on the Zone Mortalis board and the Necromunda Gangs first :)

AWESOME! I have been on a tank high recently so I am always looking forward to more armor. Last night I was even looking at the earlier portion of this thread. I had even taken your idea awhile back to use the the SM hunter in my own chaos army but as a 'modified' artillery piece.

Definitely looking forward to more Death Guard. The Deathshroud have been sounding so awesome lately and I really want to get some. However, Necromunda will be a nice change of pace and I will be happy to see them come out from the underhive.

I hate to be "That Guy", but there seems to be something wrong with the helmet. Its either the angle of the picture, but something seems off with around the eyes....

Something just doesnt seem right in an otherwise great paint job. I'm not saying this to be mean, but I cant look at the picture without being drawn to that spot that bothers me.

Am I the only one who sees it?

Typhus

The Traveller, Herald of the Plague God, Host of the Destroyer Hive, First Captain of the Death Guard

When the Death Guard were adrift in the Warp during the Horus Heresy, dying from the Destroyer Plague, Calas Typhon, First Captain of the XIV Legion, absorbed the full power of the disease, becoming a vessel for this ultimate corruption. Swelling in size, his skin and armour bonded. Great pestilential funnels grew from his body, spewing forth a miasma of destruction. Calas Typhon has been transformed into Typhus, Host of the Destroyer Hive.

I think it's mostly the garbage picture - don't have access to a good cam atm :/

Hopefully the new pics from the finished one help with it?

He blends in so well with the piles of Nurglings from far away. :biggrin.:

Hehe yaw :blush.:

No, there is something wrong with the Left Eye I think. Is the eyebrow thicker there? I cant help it, but my vision is instantly drawn to that part of the helmet... Its a great paint job, but for some reason, that little section draws my attention and its distracting... I cant really explain it, I'm sorry. Please dont hate me...

No worries ^^

I think the big problem is the model itself, because the helmet is a bit ... weird. Will do some high-def pictures sometimes next week from more angles to see if it helps ^^

While the helmet looks fine to me (to the extent that a plaguemarine can be described as "fine"), it also looks as if there's some shade or weathering right around the inner corners of the eyes, and some murky bits where I'm not completely sure what's weathering/shade and what's eye.

I'm also not that familiar with the model. I suppose I could look up other photos and paintjobs of it to try to get better sense of what's going on under the paint, but again, I think it looks fine. (For a plaguemarine.)

Hey Guys :)

While I wait for more weapon options and upgrade kits for my Gangs, I decided to start to work on the Zone Mortalis Board!

Little teaser:

This is gonna be fuuuuun :happy.:

Atia! Your DG look exactly like I want to do mine.

About the goop on your ZM boards to mimic the toxic waste: I wouldn't go cutting anything. Why not pour wood glue on top of a floor board and elt it dry thinly, then add another layer which you leave to dry, and repeat untill you have a 5mm thick ayer, which you can then peel off and put on the board wherever you want, and which holds paint after a thorough primer like anything?

It makes it customizable without damaging your ZM board.
