    Wrapping Wreckas

    Hit the throttle on the Wreckas last week. I've been painting pretty slowly this year all things considered, decided to change that with this project. Finished up free-hand on a few items, got the squigs painted up, did the bases and oil washes last week resulting in a final project I'm pretty happy with!    I dug out some of the leftover terrain bits I had from the sector imperialis/Chalnath terrain. I put a fine terrain paste around those bits and then put in some sand to act as larg

So a week ago I got asked to make a coaster set, and the only thing it said, was orks. So, I made it as orky as I could. The Wisest Of the Wise, and The Crimson King, the last of the established covers.

So this is not necessarily the closing of this project, but an important Milestone. with these 2 designs done, the last of the GW made Primarch Hardcovers is done. Recipe for colours used to date.

Keeping in mind this blog is designed to showcase the TTCombat paints, and my (limited) painting ability with them, here is the recipe I have been using to date.     The main blue armour is as follows:   Throwing Shade Blue and Thinner Medium mixed in a 3:2 ratio for the base layer.
