I do actually like GWs Crusader models, but as ecclesiarchal Crusaders I didn't want them to sport inquisitorial 'I's on their shields. And these better match my Death Cult Assassins. -

A bunch of models initially intended to be non-militant Sisters (Famulous, Dialogus), in case I'd ever need one. Mostly used as test-models for experimentations in painting, varnishing, washing and green-stuffing. Now of course they come in quite handy as female Priests. -

** Work in Progress ** This will be my WiP thread for my sisters of the Order of the Steel Rose, Forge World Psyther and Astra Militarum of Fect. Original Order: Order of the Bloody Rose Figure of Legend: Saint Isabella Background: The Order of the Steel Rose was formed in M39 due to help shore up the Juran system and ensure that it would never fall from the light of the emperor. This system is a key staging and resupply area for many campaigns in the southern regions of Imperium controlled space. The first Canoness of the order was Saint Isabella. A strict adherent to the guidelines of the Orders Militant she was granted this honor upon attaining Saint-hood after purging a cult of Nurgle off of an important hive world supplying millions of souls to the Astra Militarum. The Order of the Steel Rose was given control over the entirety of the Juran system excluding the Forge World Psyther and has forged the system into one of the most pious and productive systems in the Imperium. Home System: The Juran system is home to Forge World Psyther, the manufactorum planet of Fect, oasis moon of Leomu and the sister monastery moon called The Gift. The Gift is a lush agri-moon dotted with monasteries that pierce the clouds that surround the planet permanently with regular torrential rainfalls. -= Links to Potentially Needed Bits =- -= Painting Ideas =- So, I know I want stained glass on my exorcists. I'm thinking over covering the door panels with hand painted stained glass. Below is an example for me to use to identify where the separations will generally take place as well as how to split the colors. Just need to figure out how to getting the lighting effect correct so it appears that it is glass. -= Astra Militarum of Fect =- Information for the Astra Militarum of Fect will go here until I build their WiP thread.

This is the first model I've painted in well over a year, and I thought I'd share the start to finish. Except the cloth, it's all base coated, and the flowers are going to be recolored in purple. Opinions/critiques always welcome as long as they are constructive!

Another Friday, another week in the books, and another brand-new Glacial Geek Battle Report! https://youtu.be/eV84ocmLPbw This week my Deathwing take on the Sisters of Battle! Belial strode towards the Teleportarium, his ceramite boots banging loudly against the metal floor. He drew his Sword of Secrets and readied his Storm Bolter as he stepped up onto the platform. He readied himself with the squad of Deathwing Knights arrayed around him checking their weapons. A chapter serf ran into the room with a missive, "Sir, we have been hailed again by the Adeptus Sororitas forces on the planet's surface!" Belial glared at the man, "I made my intentions clear, we are not to respond to their hails until after our mission is over." The surf backed away a half a step, withering under the gaze of the Dark Angel's First Company Master, "Y-yes sir, but this hail seemed more important sir." Belial narrowed his eyes, "What could be so important that it would make you think that I would change my mind?" The serf cleared his throat, "Sir, this hail is coming from the Living Saint, Saint Celestine herself!" Belial paused for a moment, taken for a second with the news, "My orders still stand, no communications with them until we are done here." "Yes sir!" The serf responded as he turned and ran off. Belial stood there for a moment, thinking about the presence of the Living Saint herself being here and what that might mean. "Power coils are fully charged, sir!" called out the Techmarine manning the controls. Belial looked at him and nodded, "Send us down there, Brother." Will the Dark Angels be able to retrieve the information they need, or will Celestine lead her forces against them and stop their mission? Watch and find out! -
