    So am I back from Indiana. I have to head back to move In-Laws into a Retirement Center, in a few weeks. And of course everything goes sideways at work moment I get back. So hobby time has been non existence.     Wrapping Wreckas

    Hit the throttle on the Wreckas last week. I've been painting pretty slowly this year all things considered, decided to change that with this project. Finished up free-hand on a few items, got the squigs painted up, did the bases and oil washes last week resulting in a final project I'm pretty happy with!    I dug out some of the leftover terrain bits I had from the sector imperialis/Chalnath terrain. MacFarlane figure Complete!

Finished the details of my MacFarlane figure that I'll be using for reference for painting the colour-shift style I'm going for with my chapter armour.  The figure was sprayed with Rust-Oleum "Cosmic Blue" Colour Shift rattle cans (with the correct undercoat), and everything else was hand painted with good old Citadel paints. Reinforcements inbound

Well Mikey's birthday was yesterday and he got some Baron of Dice Ultramarine dice, Inceptors, Aggressors, and Ancient. But the Eradicators "were" delivered but they were not in my mailbox or USPS did not leave the key for the lockbox...   My other son, Chris got his Combat Patrol Necrons so he has gotten closer to fielding an army but still a ways off.

The Iron Snakes take a trip into the past

Iron Hands Rhino

I have finished up a 5th rhino for my Iron Hands:    I've gone with a different dozer blade and a havoc launcher on this one as it is for the Graviton Shredder Support Squad so it stands out and I don't lose track of them. The Havoc Launcher provides a bit of anti-infantry firepower to a squad which is very anti-tank focussed. As I can only run the Graviton Shredder squad in a Head of the Gorgon list, this will only get a run out then (unless I buy some plasma guns or something t

Jetbike Command Squad

I finally finished my jetbike command squad for my Iron Hands using the now OOP Iron Hands Mark III Torsos, Shoulder Pads, and Heads:    Their weapons and shields come from a variety of sources:  1. The power maul on the left model as you look at the photo is from the new 30k melee weapons upgrade set.  2. The power fists are from the Mark IV kit.  3. The banner is from the old Cadian Command Squad with the detailing filed off and a brass rod as the banner pole.

Land Raider Proteus

I have also assembled and started painting a Land Raider Proteus fto carry around my Gorgon Terminators (this is the only shot I have of it right now). The Cataphractii Terminators will be in the Phobos so I won't forget which unit is in which transport on the tabletop.    I have to say this is a much nicer kit to put together than the Phobos Land Raider, the parts just fit together much better. I have started painting and will post a photo of the progress soon.

Militia Discipline Master

I have kitbashed up a discipline master for the militia, this guy is made up of 3d printed legs (I do not know the STL I got them from a friend), the laspistol arm from the now OOP Krieg HQ command squad, a closed greatcoat torso, veteran beret head and power axe (all from Anvil), and the Scion coat.      I have had to greenstuff the waist joint a bit as the 3d printed legs were slightly larger than Anvil or old GW Cadian legs but it is not noticeable now that the model has

Blue Stuff testing - an alternative for repairs and missing parts

Hi folks,   As CtA25 is coming, I started refraining my painting activity for anything related to 30/40k or associated universe. Target is to get enough material to gather them in a single faction and try to get them painting while competing for enough points. And, maybe, get a badge. Warhammer World- Nottingham

OMG.......Store #2 of the Honeymoon. WARHAMMER WORLD, such an unreal experience. The exhibit hall, the gaming area, the store, and even with Bugman's being remodeled it was still cool thing.      The Rhino, the Space Marine statue, and LT. Titus such a site to see in person. Yes I am wearing a Grey Knight shirt.    I was shocked to see the Tyranid invasion of Fenris was in the main lobby   one of my favorite pieces in the lobby was this mode

Warhammer- Belfast

So while on a Tour of Northern Ireland, the tour stopped in Belfast for about 2 hours self guided tour and lunch. After Lunch at Hellcat Maggie's, the wife and I were about start walking around Belfast and I made a joke that there should be Warhammer store near by. The planet of Khymara Prime was quiet. While the Hive cities may had some light activity to them, the main city, Khymara Prime Proper, was quiet. Khymara Prime Proper consisted of Imperial Adminstratum buildings, Ecclesiarch buildings and an Adeptus Arbites Precient and the older ruined Imperial buildings.
