    Wrapping Wreckas

    Hit the throttle on the Wreckas last week. I've been painting pretty slowly this year all things considered, decided to change that with this project. Finished up free-hand on a few items, got the squigs painted up, did the bases and oil washes last week resulting in a final project I'm pretty happy with!    I dug out some of the leftover terrain bits I had from the sector imperialis/Chalnath terrain. I put a fine terrain paste around those bits and then put in some sand to act as larg

    So am I back from Indiana. I have to head back to move In-Laws into a Retirement Center, in a few weeks. And of course everything goes sideways at work moment I get back. So hobby time has been non existence. Warhammer- Dublin

At this point on the Honeymoon it has became a hunt for me to find Warhammer stores near our hotel. Originally our plan was to stay at the Zanzibar Locke Hotel in Dublin (99 meters away) but changed it to Trinity City Hotel (850 meters away). This store was about twice the size of my home state stores. But had some really nice models on display. I thought I got a pic of the amazing Iron Snakes that the staff member did.    Store #5

Warhammer- Edinburgh

On 04/30 the Wife and I were in Edinburgh, Scotland.....Warhammer store 0.1 mile for hotel, wife was slightly annoyed which I was very humorous to me. Awesome Kill Team display board.  Store had a limited amount of Forgeworld and was about the same size as my local stores. I did get to hang out with the employees for a bit. Plus look at that view of Edinburgh Castle! Store #4 visited!

Warhammer - York

Saving Warhammer World for the last....     So on 04/29 My wife and I were walking to our hotel in York, I laughed as we were 280 feet from Warhammer York. This would be Warhammer store #3. It was a little bigger than the Warhammer Stores here. And I loved their store display.            I did purchase my Astra Militarum Codex here.

Warhammer Store- London

While I was trying to keep a blog while on my 19 day Honeymoon in UK/ Ireland and I really disliked typing it out on my phone and trying to keep it forum related.  My Wife and I planned on going to Nottingham for a day (04/28) and going to Warhammer World while there. We arrived in London on 4/22 and crashed out. The morning 04/23 We were about to begin our tour of London, I was curious where the closest Warhammer Store was. Turns out it was just under a mile away from hotel.

With this unit, I bought the Phobos Strike Team KT box rather than the Infiltrators/Incursors dual kit. I very much recommend the former. Its bits give the otherwise bland models a proper SM feeling, particularly as seen with the Druht leader. I've never really been a big fan of Phobos since I reached hobby 'maturity'. Crusade - Game 7 - Practical Archaeology

CRUSADE GAME 7 - TAU VS ELDAR It always starts so well.   We've settled into a two-match Crusade day per month right now, which isn't a lot, but it's better than nothing. Grand Master De Sonnec and Inquisitor Rork, meet with Sgt Magdalene of the Langham 13th. Sgt Magdalene was grizzled old Sgt with white hair, and no nonsense attitude.    The first stop on the patrol was speaking with an Imperial Fist Captain Eaton at the “Tower”. Thunderhawk has arrived

The Grey Knight Thunderhawk touched down safely after launching from the Inquisitorial Black Ship Phoenix. Terrain Pegasus Hobbies Ruined Gothic Building

I bought this Pegasus Hobbies piece years ago. I painted it in basic gray colors and used it in a few dozen games. Last year, I and a comrade decided to level it up. I hope you like it. The original building had an open top. This was covered in plasticard. A building from Age of Sigmar was added. Aeldari Wraith Units

I have two craftworlds. A bone theme I started in 3rd edition. I bought a used eshin gray army. It had a wraith lord and a unit of wraith guard in it. I completed two more wraithlords using that scheme. Wraithlords     Wraithguard One model broke apart when I unpacked it. I didn't photograph it.
