    Wrapping Wreckas

    Hit the throttle on the Wreckas last week. I've been painting pretty slowly this year all things considered, decided to change that with this project. Finished up free-hand on a few items, got the squigs painted up, did the bases and oil washes last week resulting in a final project I'm pretty happy with!    I dug out some of the leftover terrain bits I had from the sector imperialis/Chalnath terrain. Salamander Statue back on the WIP pile

Quick update.    After about 14 years, I'm getting my Salamander back on the WIP desk to start clearing my more important backlog of figures. He's been at the same stage since about 2010/11 (there's a theme here), so I'm getting him finished. Originally I was just going to paint him with just a basic style, but since changed to more reflective/NMM style that's more interesting.    Starting with the right leg and knee, it's already looking a bit more interesting!

Hobby Challenge Diary 01

Another digression - This time about Drukharii

Hi Folks,   It will maybe be no surprise for you if you follow time to time my entries: I was planning including some Drukharii element to my old Aeldarii army in order to align an Ynnarii faction. I bought some stuff, made some test models (Archon) and even completetd some units  (Mandrakes, Incubis and Kabalites). First progress of the year

Getting Started

Crusade - Game 2 - A Sudden, But Inevitable Betrayal

Well, its certainly been a hot minute this time hasn't it. I'm not really sure where 2024 went but I didn't get an awful lot done last year, and I'm determined to do things better this time!   Last year I progressed a bit more with the Leviathan boxset, and by year's end had just eleven space marines left to do.
