Yeah, AoS is tempting. I wanted to dip my toe back in awhile back when they came out with skirmish. And Shadespire always pops up with interest in my group. What really gets me interested are those new, spooky ghosts.

The kill team looks pretty nice! I’ve got my stuff ordered so just waiting to pick it up next week :) debating on what team to go with first. I keep getting a plan down and then second guess it haha. I have my new WE being built up, maybe I’ll corrupt primaris armor to make big Black Legionaires, or get those Gal Vorbak and use Zardu Layak in a count as TS team.

And I am very excited to see what coffin ships may be dropping off at the rumor tower!

Well the good thing about Kill Team (or the Specialist Games) is that you only need a handful of models per faction!

And trust me, I'm almost as excited! It was a long wait, but worth it

Always like your word bearers.

Be interesting to see the stuff on the big mechs.

Thank you!

Usually for a new army, I'm doing a colour tester. This tends to be starter set or pushfit stuff that I no longer need - in case of Adeptus Titanicus I'm using Plastic Knight plates that won't get used when making a Forgeworld variant! So here we go - started to working out the colours for Legio Gryphonicus.

Yeah, I've found myself standing in line at burger shops, sitting at my desk, or in traffic thinking 'oh man, I have/can get these minis and I can make this a team.." all week. Excited to get my hands on the book 9and all the other goodies) tomorrow and hopefully some games in on Sunday.

Nice to see some test colors coming out for your future maniple (is that what the titan people call their formations?). I also hope AT gets a lot of love. I don't want to get into the starter box now but I would love to pick up kits in the future.

Yep, my Legio Gryphonicus will start with an Axiom Battleline Maniple - one Warlord, two Reavers and two Warhounds.

Nice! That sounds like a fun start! Will you be making terrain for AT as well? I think that starter box came with some but curious if you will make more. I need a terrain fix ever since you finished those zone mortalis boards.

Yep! My current plan is to get the Forgeworld Tiles down the line (release should be around Christmas at latest):

I also would love to do a homemade cathedral plaza tile, using the new Kill Team scenery. Speaking about it - we played our first game of Kill Team yesterday!

The game plays quite fast and easy, and the rulebook is faaaar better written than the Necromunda one *shudders*. Chaos won closly, thanks to an unnamed Cultist (who is now undergoing a ritual to become a Khorngor, loaded with the power of Chaos!):

Thanks! Not entirely 100% happy with the colour tone, if anyone happens to know the way the FW studio painted their Red Scorpions, let me know!

That table looks awesome! I'm am very excited to see you work on some AT! It looks like a very fun game that I hope to get into. At the least I will buy the minis as they are pretty darn sweet! I love seeing all those details they have on them.

Great to hear about a KT victory for Chaos! Played a few games and I enjoyed it myself. Just need to get my hands on more counters for when my buddies and I play out 4 player games again.

I gotta say those Word Bearers look great.

Thank you :)

Once pre-orders are up - hopefully she's finished than. Snapping pictures from the WIP while working through her. Magnet holes for the weapons are pre-drilled (5x1 mm).

if anyone happens to know the way the FW studio painted their Red Scorpions, let me know!

One of the Masterclass books goes over how they painted a Red Scorpion Armoured Proteus. Would that be useful?

Thanks - I actually had found that one yesterday 'cause I kind of remembered they were featured somewhere. Sadly they use a mix which isn't really what I'm after :/

Alright. I know they also featured some Red Scorpions in one of the old GW Blog posts. I archived a few so I might be able to dig it up for you.

Would be awesome! Currently still assembling (or having fun with magnets like a cat with a ball of wool!). Painting the armourplates with my airbrush while it's still on the sprue, doing yellow first - so I still have a bit before having to decide on a grey ^_^

Just want to say that I went ahead and did it with Mechanicus Standard Grey followed by a zenithal of Administratum Grey, and I love how it turned out. Can't wait for Saturday to show you guys :smile.:.

For now, I have a little fluff preview for you!

Iron Regent

Legio Gryphonicus Warlord Battle Titan

6VHBghr.jpg

The Warlord class Battle Titan Iron Regent bears numerous honours earned in its dedicated and worthy service to the Imperium during the later days of the Great Crusade, including battles fought against xenos titan analogues of horrific nature and power. Each of these honours pales in comparison to the deeds Iron Regent would perform during the wars of the Horus Heresy. The Mars-pattern Warlord Titan was deployed to the Battle of Tallarn, where it bestrode the blasted surface of a world turned from verdant paradise to corpse-strewn hell by the Iron Warriors' use of a world-killer life-eater viral bombardment. There Iron Regent would slay three enemy Reavers and a single Warlord of the hated Legio Krytos - the God Breakers!

Glad you found a recipe/method that pleases you. Looking forward to seeing the results!

Thanks for the help though! :)

Cool stuff can't wait to see more

Can't wait to share more :P

Welcome to the best Titan Legion

Haha thank you! Legio Gryphonicus will be my main loyalist Legion, since I'm waiting for Lucius parts for Astorum.

Grieux has been working on some red scorpions, maybe he can help?

These are really nice indeed! And funnily enough, basically the "brush blending" scheme of mine plus more contrast.

You're truly the queen of hobby around these parts. The butterfly queen, but still

Awww thank ya Auggi :blush.:

Just want to share the base I started for my Warlord - nothing big, something quite simple and the first time I used special sand glue!

GW also shared the official sprues today so I can add my two cents regarding them:

Legs are highly poseable (which could actually become a problem for less experienced hobbyists!), all four weapons have magnet holes (5x1 mm). The head also has a hole for a magnet on one side, you just need to fill the empty space of the head with a ball of greenstuff and another magnet to make that one customizable too. Kit includes two different eye-parts and two variants for the head armour (one with less trim). You can airbrush all the armour parts on the sprue too!

For building - the model went together awesomely well, besides a little part on the torso (basically the undersite connecting with the bigger glued part) that pinched a bit. Don't remember the last time I worked with such a standard (angrily looking at you Stormcast Eternals "Easy" to Build Kits :dry.:).
