Anybody got the prices for this, and the other Kill Team stuff? I'm presuming £130 for Soulshackle, but interested in the price of the Gallowdark set and extras. Thanks!

£110 for Soulshackle, I'll definitely have to pick up the Drukhari from Ebay

After playing Mordheim on the box recently certain bits of armour remind me of the Sisters of Sigmar and Empire warbands. I like the vague knightly look they have so that isnt gonna be a problem, shame they will be going under the knife to make them look like their older sculpts.

Going back to an earlier part of the discussion, from a lore perspective arbites could absolutely be their own faction.

In the enforcer series there are descriptions at several points of large scale arbites forces conducting planetary assaults for various reasons (tithe collection, removing rebellious governor's, mass sedition, heresy etc).

Again in that series there are also numerous occasions where forces of several hundred arbites in various roles (including heavy support, snipers, close combat etc) deploy with armoured vehicles (primarily rhinos and repressors) to conduct tasks.

They are also described as having their own dedicated void ships which are warp capable with specialised garrisons of arbites whose sole focus is void war and planetary assault.

In the book execution hour, the arbites are the primary force defending a planet from a full chaos invasion / rebellion. They are the only force still fighting well after the pdf have been wiped out. They are described as having a full combined arms force in their precinct fortresses including leman Russ battle tanks and attack aircraft.

They are again also shown as having their own voidcraft of a similar design to space marine strike cruisers which are used for large scale actions involving hundreds if not thousands of arbites for planetary assaults.

Also in execution hour a senior arbites (cant remember the rank but head of the arbites for the planet) is legally able to commandeer an imperial navy warship (the lord solar macharius as it happens) as he needs it to arrest a criminal. So clearly they could requestion any resources that they required.

They are also featured in the Uriel Ventris series on pavonis (warriors of ultramar?) Where they are described as having a full combined arms force in their precinct fortress and it takes pretty much the entirety of the planets traitor pdf to defeat them.

In that book there is also a secret armoury under the fortress containing a huge stockpile of advanced weaponry such as plasma etc which is supposed to be for if they need additional firepower over what they are normally issued with.

From a practical perspective however I don't see it happening, they may get rules to be added into any imperial faction in a similar way to agents of the imperium. But then there is nothing stopping conversions and painting any vehicles in black.

I note Killzone Gallowdark isn't there either, which is annoying. I assume it's going to be more than half the price of the boarding terrain set, but would be nice to know as I have one set of boarding terrain and really need two...

Some 3rd party retailers (UK) offer 10% off GW-direct items.

I've seen Dark Sphere do but their lack of a free-P&P threshold usually wipes out the saving; not familiar with others who do, but will take names :)

If the Imperial Navy equivalent are a good measure, I’d expect a decent chunk of background – say a dozen pages or so?

So has there already been a rulebook for those? I thought they were just coming out since they specifically mention their rulebooks ( Into the Dark etc)as going up for pre-order?

The Navy Breachers released late last year, in the Into The Dark box, which came with the book containing their rules. The models and book are now being released separately from that box only now.
