Plastic wings for me too, they fit the aesthetic of the rest of the model a lot better than the others IMO. The metal wings also add a lot of weight to the top of the model but don't look big enough to compensate for this. -
Reading the text before looking at the pictures I was a bit worried about converting the Lord of Contagion as I couldn't imagine it not looking like the base model, but you've knocked it right of the park! Cant wait to see it painted up.

Very quick Vow 2, away on holiday in the morning so wont be any work done on these for a few weeks. http://i.imgur.com/OzS3jEm.jpg So this is a termi squad I did for the ETL two years ago but since then have really gone off the paint scheme for being a bit too cartoonish so going to try and darken tee guys up by adding some dark grey panels to them and touching up a few details. http://i.imgur.com/CkXkXsJ.jpg Then I have these Chaos Marines I started painting these around the end of last summer but then the got kind of forgotten about on the painting desk, so the aim is to basically just get them finished and based. -
Sad to see the old blog disappear it truly was a treasure trove of conversion ideas, great to see you're staring up a new thread though can't wait to see some more of the different warbands.

Finally managed to get my pledge sorted out, I've had a few airbrush problems so had to steer clear of my main Black Legion force. Remember he is running headlong...and it's unaltered scale..no truescales here Angron is also mentioned as being quite short for a primarch in the fluff and being the first primarch sculpted, I think FW didn't want to go too over the top with him.
