    Hit the throttle on the Wreckas last week. I've been painting pretty slowly this year all things considered, decided to change that with this project. Finished up free-hand on a few items, got the squigs painted up, did the bases and oil washes last week resulting in a final project I'm pretty happy with!    I dug out some of the leftover terrain bits I had from the sector imperialis/Chalnath terrain. A Combat Patrol Battle Report 14 August 2026 Sanguinary Spearhead (Blood Angels) v The Vardenghast Swarm. Requesting Color Scheme Painting Assistance for Ghostodes

Okay, I've decided on a Grey Seer primer, an all over wash of Hexwraith Flame  and finally a light to medium drybrush of Uluthuan Grey.   How's this sound? Hopefully,  it works out...   Now here's my problem. Plague Marines: caster

To be honest, I don't really like this miniature; something feels off. I tried to make the metal dull and added dirt and grime. But I'm not sure how well it turned out.  I'm generally not a fan of dirt on miniatures, as it usually obscures the model itself. Here, I tried to make the dirt visible without obscuring the main paint job.

Angels of Death: Done

It was wonderful. Everyone loves to paint yellow... Finished painting the sniper. He's another unusual character on the team. According to the attributes on his armor, and this is Crux and instead of the seal of purity, a skull in an iron halo, he is at least lieutenant. Well, been a busy couple of weeks, so I haven't updated in a while. I managed to finish off painting my Knight Destrier in time for my painting comp (didn't place, but didn't expect to given the high level of competition we have there) and finally figured out how to do Ironkin Beserks.    First up, Destrier of House Romlas-      I'm pretty happy with him, fits in well with my other Knights and wasn't too much of a pain to put together or paint.

Angels of Death: Intercessor

So next one is ready. It's a simple intercessor and I leave him unscratched. I tried to make his yellow as pure as possible. I also managed to find the right colors for the bags and holster.  I made it completely flat matte and painted all the highlights myself.  A very funny experience.  As for gun I use same approach as for dreadnought gun. Every time NMM is easier and easier. Now I wanna paint something like very shiny knight or space marine or knight - space marine

Khymara Hive Primaris

So I did something.....

Besides changing the Blog name......I purchased another gang- Spyre Hunting Party.       While this Gang is ideally is for "Arbitrator" Games along with @The_Oni_of_Hindsight's Palatine Enforcers as "Arbitrator" force to cause Havoc in the Underhive of Hive Primaris on Khymara. I may play this as my gang as I continue my Redemptionist and possibly a Generic Venerator Gang out of Hive Scum. I may do generic Gang for Metal Head Armory's Necromunda Campaign.

Planning second half of the year 2026

Hi Folks,   After a summer break (I would say “well deserved”, yet due to the consecutive heatwaves and wildfires, I would not pretend I’ve capitalized any rest on these 2 weeks off duty…), it is time to resume my hobby part. Warhammer Necromunda Skirmish......Necromunda 2026 (N26)

I caved.....sort of.    I have been a fan of Necromunda for a long time. And as a good and loyal servant of the Emperor, I like playing Cawdor back in the Older Necromunda days and now focus on the Cult of Redemption. I still have a few of plastic the Redemptionists, Cawdors, and weapon sets. Plus the Resin versions of weapons/ heads, and Characters.  None of the vehicles for them though.  I also do have Delaque and Eschers from previous boxsets, just not into those gangs.

Angels of Death: Sergeant

And the sergeant is ready. I slightly changed the color scheme by removing two unnecessary (as it seems to me) colors.  Overall, I'm happy with the result, except for the helmet. Red is a really finicky color for me. I'm left with an unused captain that I don't want to use in the kill team. I'll try to make a blood angel out of him.

Yellow. Yellow is the king of the color scheme. Praetorian (Sanguinary) Guard completed.

New painting handle

Finally, the new miniature holder has arrived. This is Chaos G-maker pro.It's a Chinese brand, but very good Chinese. The handle is wooden and varnished. The center is anodized aluminum, and the turntable is 3D printed. The set includes two rotary tables: magnetic and on an axis. I also ordered an addition for small details and an addition for the background. It came to $28 with shipping.  It's heavy and fits very comfortably in your hand. The finger rest can be rotated to suit your needs.
