    Got him! Had a LOT of fun with the dead Screamer-KIller. Like, I'm seriously surprised. Despite the ridiculous design of those side plates on it's head (I'm always getting this in my head whenever I see those: Anyway, here is the man himself: Made him with the 5th iconography not to negelct the Daemonbanes anymore than I have to. Happy with how the cape and sword came out. The sword especialy as I think I managed to convincingly (at least in my head) put together the NMM and a subtle lightning/power field glow effect. Cheers!

    Cheers Rhavien! The Repulsor... Well it all really came out from the discomfort I got during building phase. The turret is really small (Executioner is sooooo much better in this regard!) and over-cluttered with weapons I just had to do something with it. It's not perfect by any degree and I wouldn't really like to repeat it if I ever get another Repulsor. It's also not easy to paint The main benefit for me is that it allowed me to make the turret noticeably longer. EDIT: and yes I think one of C&C's Mammoth Tank versions had something similar

    Hi folks! I failed September, missed October completely and yet I'm back for more Here is my long overdue September Repulsor: I, Majkhel of the Blood Angels, embark on the 12 Months of Hobby Challenge, and for the month of November pledge to complete 1 TDA Captain and 1 Terminator with Assault Canon for the glory of the Angel by month's end. ....can't believe I'm painting those Termies since July...

    It's been some time, but I did manage to get back to my Angels! Which is quite comforting really. I did fail the Call to Arms vow, so a mark of Servitor is mine to bear until year's end. That I will do . Nevertheless I will complete the initial vow and with that I give you the Repulsor tank: Took me ages to complete (apparently leaving a project for weeks on end doesn't help in this ) and many things I could have pushed further. Perhaps I'll revisit it at one point, but for the moment I'm drained by it and want to move to other things. Speaking of which, I picked up the Terminator Captain and made some solid progress: Still a WIP and colors are muted by the camera too much, but I wanted to show the cloak which I built up from pure black adding a magenta ink (a new medium for me) to increase the saturation of violets. Painfully slow, it was still an interesting journey and I really enjoy those explorations sometimes. Golds and silvers need touch-ups, Storm Bolter's casing needs to be done (and barrels.... how could I miss those?) and I only started to work on the base. Sword's blade is nice, but I' want to show it better on a finished model. Cheers everyone!

    What that? A hobby butterfly strike? Instead of completing terminators of which I have 2 started already, I felt the sudden need for speed. And so there will be Repulsor from my Call to Arms vow landing on my desk: I, Majkhel of the Blood Angels, embark on the 12 Months of Hobby Challenge, and for the month of September pledge to complete any of the 1 Repulsor tank for the glory of the Angel by month's end.

    In a vacuum that's true. But note that jump melee units can take only a single fist in a squad (apart from DC) when shooty infantry can take 4-6 lascanons (Devasators, Centurions)
