    Hit the throttle on the Wreckas last week. I've been painting pretty slowly this year all things considered, decided to change that with this project. Finished up free-hand on a few items, got the squigs painted up, did the bases and oil washes last week resulting in a final project I'm pretty happy with!    I dug out some of the leftover terrain bits I had from the sector imperialis/Chalnath terrain. Weekly Update #4

So no battle report this week. The combat patrol league is every other week at the local store.    So I started on the chaos marines. Doing a modified Black Legion scheme. Thunderhawk round 2 part 2

Managed to get a decent prime coat on the thawk today aswell as priming a necron lord and chaos lord. It was interesting to see the difference between the black and grey primer going through the air brush, the thawk had  2 coats of grey whilst the necron and chaos lords only needed the one black undercoat in my opinion.  Both primers are vallejo thinned 2 primer :1 thinner with a couple of drops of flow improver. The black went down beautifully and as I said the grey needed a bit of going over.

I had a stab at painting this thunderhawk previously with an air brush (my first time using one) and things did not go well!! So after a few days of soaking in floor cleaner and scrubbing with a tooth brush I think it's time for another go. I've had a box of blood angels tactical marines that I have been painting up for a while now. This is the 10th and last one all done (finally!!) Hi Folks,   This year my 12 MoH pledge includes a plodding along pledge again. Last year was too busy and frantic to consider any possible commitment in a long-term project. Terrain. Should I?

So what I wanna say. I need terrain. Somehow I'd overlooked this fact when painting my little dudes and murderous lizards. I have boarding action set, yeap. But. BUT! Baneblade shooting Carnifex on other side of little wall is surreal. So I wasn't able to finish the Eldar CP as I had hoped. Got too distracted. I did get the guardians mostly done. I just need to add some details and for that I need a new brush cause my fine detail grew a mohawk. Also need one to redo the cracks on the jetbikes. Rogue Trader Entourage – Part 6 – The Breachers
