  1. A friend of mine sent me a collection of 23 Cthonian gang glyphs, in 23 diferent images. Quite useful and interesting if you are painting Sons of Horus, or Imperial Fists. Troops, tanks,characters,Dreads,... whatever. If someone is interested, here is the compressed folder. Thanks to the original creator of it.
  2. Hi all, discussing potential lists with an opponent and he believes if he takes polux and uses his void commander rule to give all models in a unit he joins deepstrike, this would also give it to any dedicated transport that the unit had. So potentially deepstriking landraiders. Now apart from being ridiculous, my interpretation is that the dedicated transport isn't part of the unit, it just carries them. That being said, GW does have previous form. So what say you brothers?
  3. There are quite a lot of changes in our latest FAQ: https://www.warhammer-community.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Pg7SNcXHy0BwUCW4.pdf The one that stood out most for me was this: So now a whole ton of weapons lose the bonus. I'm not sure which of these is most significant, though intercessors' stalker bolt rifles are probably high up the list. Then probably heavy bolters. Stuff like onslaught gatling cannons, that became decent AT weapons for Fists (especially with the tank hunters strat) are now a huge amount weaker. Autocannons are still ok though, and gained a shot. I wasn't sure if my suppressors would see a lot of table time in 9th but they might. And, like everyone else, I guess I'll be buying Eradicators. Can't say I'm at all happy with this change. I don't know why they had to nerf Fists even more, after the doctrine changes.
  4. Hey friends, after spending some time time in quarantine I finally finished a decent chunk of models! I thought I was dragging my feet but I've actually finished a decent chunk so far. I know my 30k backlog still has a ways to go, but it was nice to finally seal all these up and call them done! I always love adding models to my Imperial Fists collection. The completed list so far is: 1x Custodes Tribune 1x Navigator 1x Knight Castellan for House Hawkshroud 2x Lightning Strike Fighters 1x Vigilator Centurion 10x Veterans 10x Recon Marines 6x Tarantulas 3x Deimos Predators 1x Fellblade In a few more days I'll hopefully have 5 Outriders, 10 Vets, 1 Centurion, 2 Rhinos, and 1 Contemptor Dreadnought added to the completed pile. Enjoy!
  5. Shenandoah Knights Chapter http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/sm.php?b62c=@haiWu_hly1H.iakk7____@@@.@_@@..@@@@@@@@@@@hXD48@hXD48@@@@@@@@@@@_hksDA@@@@@@@@@____hksDA.&grid=TRUE Origins It is believed that the Shenandoah Knights chapter were formed as part of the 25th Founding. As it is around this time that the first mentions of the chapter appear in Imperial records. Home World The Shenandoah Knights claim the Shenandoah system in the Segmentum Pacificus as their home and maintain chapter keeps, which bear the title of Knight's Keep, on the inhabited planets in the system. They are Kyboro, Atlantica, Urangara and Lydale. Prior to the Shenandoah Knights claiming the system, it had a proud military history and provided many regiments, which were collectively referred to as the Shenandoah Guard for the Imperial Guard and while the numbers may have dropped, it is tradition that is still continued. Gene-Seed The gene-seed of the Shenandoah Knights is that of the Imperial Fists Legion and they share many of the same traits of that chapter. The chapter shares many personality with the Black Templars and claim their first generation's gene-seed came from the tithes of Black Templars to Terra Organisation The Shenandoah Knights maintain many of the traditions of their parent chapter, one of which is that the chapter is fleet based, even though they claim a system as their own, if not a single world. However their organisation strongly resembles that of the Black Templars, but rather than an ad hoc organisation like that of the Black Templars, the chapter is organised into 4 Priories, three of which are about equivalent in size to that of 3 companies from other chapters and each include their own Armoury, Reclusium and Apothecarium. The fourth Priory is called The Grand Priory, which is the Priory of the Grand Master and includes the chapter’s senior ranks. The chapter has a small number of Terminator suits that are used by the veterans of the Grand Priory. Recruitment The ways that the Knights recruit on each planet varies. However while each Priory recruits from all the planets in the system, each one tends to recruit from a specific planet more than the others and this in turn has had an affect on the character of each Priory. Combat Doctrine Due to being a fleet based chapter that seldom comes together in one place, each Priory has developed their own idiosyncrasies. The third Priory which favours assault over ranged fighting, has a higher number of assault troops. Whereas the second Priory which favours long range tactics, has a higher number of fire support troops. Beliefs The people of the Shenandoah system are strong believers of the Imperial Creed and as such they venerate the Emperor as the God of Man and this has influenced the chapter's own beliefs. This has meant that the chapter have a strong and close relationship with the Ecclesiarchy and the Adepta Sororitas an it's not uncommon for the Knights to be seen fighting alongside Adepta Soroitas forces. But as you can imagine this belief has caused them to have a somewhat strained relationship with other Astartes chapters who do not share their beliefs. Battle Cry To date there has been no recorded battle cry. It almost seems as if the chapter fights in silence and communicate via vox when needed. The only time during battle that anything is uttered is when they have to communicate with another force Notable Member of the Shenandoah Knights Grand Master Waddell - Waddell is the chapter's current Grand Master, He is the second to hold the office in the chapter's history. Grand Master Bulloch - Bulloch was the Shenandoah Knight's first Grand Master and was killed in a warp accident upon the Battle Barge Sea King. The chapter's flagship.
  6. Evening everyone, I used to be an active member on here quite a few years ago now under a similar name. Unfortunately I've had to make a new account (I'll edit all my details and stuff later), however it's not a bad thing to start fresh! So without further ado, here's my finished FW Imperial Space Marine. I've had him a few years now and he has been both a Black Templar and an Ultranarine, however I wanted to finally do the model justice so spent a day repainting him. Heavily weathered, I wanted to show him as being the front line soldier he should be. As always, I hope you like. Cos
  7. Greetings fellow brothers and sisters, I have been into other games for a while, but are now eager to try out this new edition. And especially with new "truer" scaled marines, which I have longed for. I could'nt leave Imperial fists, but will now try Mengel´s Imperial Fists guide and see if it is an efficient way of painting yellow. Right now I am in the assembly phase and put together my first Inceptor. I removed the bolter-shields and the hood. And wanted the sergeant to be influenced from Duke Nukem (because why not). I hope that my eagerness to build this force will continue and I hope that you perhaps will enjoy this too.
  8. Greetings frater of the AoD! So after quite a while roaming around the forums, ocassionally contributing and rarely posting any of my projects, I've decided to take the plunge and finally start a thread for my projects regarding the Horus Heresy. The main project is an Imperial Fists "narrative" army, mainly following the story of the 81th Company from the void engagements of the battle of Phall to the desperate defense of the Siege of Terra, reaching to its maddened aftermath. Although some units might have a single iteration, I intend to show the progression of some characters and units through the turmoil and events of the Heresy, be it in the fluff or in miniature form (maybe both). It might also include elements from other legions or armies that join them in their battles, but the Fists should and will be the core of it. Occassionally, however, I might show individual pieces that I might fancy doing, little snippets or scenes from various points in this vast conflict. It might go from a single miniature, to a unit, or a small diorama or scene. For now, I will just dump some pictures of different miniatures and units I have at different stages of progression, from early WIPs to finished miniatures (there are very, very few of them, I must say ). Most of them have some degree of fluff associated, but it is mainly inside my head and I usually can't be bothered to write it down (which is something I intend to change, although being a non-native English speaker might make it a bit complicated ). Maybe hearing your thoughts or opinions might help me find motivation and ideas to finish my ideas, since I tend to start building miniatures or thinking fluff for them just to leave it unfinished for months/years . So, without further delays, my humble dump of pictures, with some anotations to them (to give some insight, but also to keep the mistery where needed): Second squad of the 81th Company, under the command of veteran sergeant Raimund. http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w490/Risollano/00b2347f-6a43-48cc-bd8e-279fcc9b55ba_zpsestwanar.jpg http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w490/Risollano/8d765384-e274-4455-acb7-ef8261b3c647_zpszodobr87.jpg http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w490/Risollano/20160815_121522_zpsa5o4k3ra.jpg Master of signals, first lieutenant of the 81th Company and commander of the frigate Herald of Liberation, Loctar Dibarion. http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w490/Risollano/Warhammer/Dibarion/1. I'll also try to start to post some of the ongoing WIPs to ask for the wise advice of this board. Fluff will be added sporadically.
  9. Hello Age of Darkness! I’ve been a longtime lurker on the B+C; occasionally posting once or twice but mostly keeping free of anything but oggling the work of the many talents that post here. I’ve finally decided to try and start a project log for my VIIth legion. (Perhaps I can entice some of my other local Heresy nuts to join in on sharing their work) Specifically my army will be centered around my favorite character, that forgeworld loves to tease about and the BL only seems to flirt with; Fafnir Rann. Being that I’m a huge Imperial Fists fan, and subsequently a huge Executioners fan, I squealed with joy when I spotted the images in Extermination of Imperial Fist warriors marked with the twin axes. I knew then and there I would have to make an army representing the ruthless, battered, assault veterans of the First Assault Cadre. But it meant that I would also need to convert the man himself… Based off the quick description of Rann in Templar I figured that he should be wearing Mk III armor (in fitting with my own imagination of him being the Breacher supreme), and as far as wargear is concerned he would need a shield and his signature twin power axes. I immediaely imagined a pose where he was gripping an axe in either hand, one held in his shield hand. Templar also describes him as having black hair and always having a grin or snarl on his face. So I decided that I would leave the helmet at home for Rann and try to make a face for him that made you think of an ancient Germanic Warlord. Far less regal and knightly than say Sigismund and far more Savage and Feral. Anyhow I started with a quick sketch just to get me started. http://i.imgur.com/r53s07fm.jpg Then work began and after lots of chopping and sculpting and repositioning I am left with my first attempt... http://i.imgur.com/lFOic5Km.jpg So I started with a super filed down finecast Arjac Rockfist for the Legs and torso. (yeah he’s a big boy) Then I planned on using terminator arms and I built a gorget out of two sternguard shoulder pads by doing some creative cutting and filing. The head (which I’m already super happy with) is a blood reaver head joined to a Space marine collar and with sculpted hair. At this point, although I feel like the spirit of the sketch was captured, the model was super ugly and out of place next to an official miniature. So time to refine… http://i.imgur.com/iaidfOZm.jpg Some big changes this time around but I was still very unhappy with the overall look. He’s got a weird lean to his spine and the shield and axes are pretty recognizable pieces and uninspired in my mind. I also swapped out for some standard MkIII legs because I wanted to keep a top heavy proportion between his upper and lower halves. The arms are slowly being reworked in favor of leaning towards traditional MkIII vambraces with terminator shoulders for bulk. The next phase was even more refining. http://i.imgur.com/0qEHGZCm.jpg Now I finally feel like the pose is coming together. I straightened out the issues with his spine. The only bit of Arjac left at this point is an unrecogniazalbe piece of shaved down finecast covered in sculpting material and other bits. For the next step I decided to tackle the Axes and the Shield. “The Axes Mortalis” Which is the head-cannon name I came up with for Rann’s twin axes. It was at some point during this stage of the build where I realized I wanted to use Alexis Polux’s rules (they’re too good not too!) So I wanted to show the model with unique axes that could *counts as* something like a Str 10 fist that could strike at initiative. Now I know it’s a little bit of a stretch, but I figure some kind of uber rare obsidian archaeotech axes from inwit might fit the bill. Thankfully the guys I game with all are totally ok with the idea. Anyhow, that’s the story and here they are. http://i.imgur.com/qig6gumm.jpg Since I was now doing a Polux counts as. That meant I needed the shield to scream Vigil Pattern Storm shield and for his to have a combi-melta. So I mashed together a shaved down ogryn shield, plasticard, putty, a breacher shield, and some brass etch. For the Combi-melta I just whipped up a phobos combi and hung it from his body with some model shipways chain. And that brings us to where I am now. Now the axes and the shield have been added along with a few new details; praetor knees stolen from the BaC and a few gaps filled here and there. Anyhow... Primed Pre-Paint. http://i.imgur.com/m1HNhXSm.jpg http://i.imgur.com/F9szWUtm.jpg I’m planning to put some paint to him over the next week. When that happens I’ll definitely post some more images. Then I’ll put up some pictures of the army (I've got a sizable chunk of the Assault Cadre finished) along with some fiction regarding my own character written for the force; Knight-Captain (Delgatus) Bron Helmvar. Anyhow I’d love any comments or feedback. Thanks!
  10. I had a thought - in the fluff, we hear quite a bit that Imperial Fists favored Indomitus terminator armor during the heresy, and it absolutely true that the VII Legion has quite a few toys to play with when it comes to vanilla terminators, but after reading Praetorian of Dorn I had a brain-blast in terms of a new Imperial Fists-specific terminator squad. I'd love to get your input! Also, apologies in advance if this isn't the right place for this - mods, please feel free to move if needed! -- Imperial Fists - Huscarl Terminator Squad The elite warriors of the Primarch Rogal Dorn’s personal bodyguard, Huscarl Terminators were equally at home wading into the thick of battle with sword and shield as they were overseeing the fortification of the Imperial Palace in the days leading up to the Siege of Terra. When paired with a Vigil-Pattern Storm Shield, the armor provides nigh-impenetrable defense while still allowing Dorn’s chosen to fight unencumbered. Indomitus-Sol Pattern Terminator Armour confers a +5 invulnerable save and makes any model equipped with Indomitus-Sol Pattern Terminator Armour count as having assault grenades for the purpose of resolving charges. Unbreakable Defense – A Huscarl Terminator or Huscarl Terminator Sergeant may re-roll failed invulnerable saves of 1 when in base-to-base contact with at least two other models from this unit. Praetorians of Dorn – A Huscarl Terminator squad may be chosen instead of a Command squad as a bodyguard for any Terminator armor-equipped Praetor of the Imperial Fists (or the Primarch Rogal Dorn himself). Huscarl terminators must always be modelled/painted to be visually distinct from standard Legion Terminator models when used in this fashion.
  11. Chapter Name: Golden Eagles Founding Legion: Imperial Fists Founding: Third Founding Homeworld: Fleet-Based Fortress-Monastery: Chrysaetos (Battle-Barge) Chapter Master: Cylach Videv Specialty: Siegecraft and Bolter Drills Colours: Gold with Copper Trim Warcry: "For Dorn and The Emperor! Vengeance comes on the Wings of Eagles!" Overview The Golden Eagles are a Loyalist Space Marine Chapter, descended from the gene-seed stock of the Imperial Fists. They were part of the Third Founding which occurred in the first year of the 32nd Millenium. Born during the same time as fellow successor chapter, the Executioners, the Golden Eagles have always shared a close bond with their brother chapter, a bond that was shaken during the events of the Badab War in M41 when they sided with the Astral Claws, Mantis Warriors, and Lamenters chapters that were under the thrall of Luft Huron, the Tyrant of Badab. History During the first year of the 32nd Millenium, the High Lords of Terra had decreed a new founding of Space Marine Chapters were to take place. This was still fresh on the heels of the Horus Heresey and the Great Scouring, which had occurred in the previous millennium. While it can be disputed that the High Lords of Terra had believed to create chapters of a ruthless and brutal nature such as the Flesh Tearers from the Second Founding, and the Executioners, which were created during this founding, the Golden Eagles were created with a more level-headed approach in contrast. Their first Chapter Master and Patriarch was an Imperial Fists captain by the name of Praetin Strorion, a honoured and decorated member of the Chapter who had been present during the Great Scouring amongst the time Rogal Dorn himself still walked and waged battle alongside his sons. He strove to be like his gene-father and when it was time to form the chapter, he took up the mantle and answered the call without question or hesitation. In tribute to the primarch, he chose the chapter colours to reflect that of the colours of Rogal Dorn’s Auric Armour, gold and copper to honour and remember their primarch. During the chapter’s founding, several artisans had travelled to Rogal’s homeworld on Inwit, and learned the secrets of forging the Storm’s Teeth, Rogal’s legendary Chainblade, but scaled it down to be able to be wielded by an Astartes. Stormchild, as it would be later known would serve as a mark of the Chapter Master, which has been wielded by each one since Praetin Strorion to its current Chapter Master, Cylach Videv. The chapter was put to its first major campaign during the War of the Beast at the end of M32. While half of the chapter was deployed at various regions of the galaxy, they were able to mobilize the remaining half of their chapter to the defense of Holy Terra from the Ork onslaught by the Warboss only known as The Beast. In the aftermath of the War of the Beast, the chapter committed an entire battle company plus all of their newest scout recruits to help the Imperial Fists chapter rebuild as part of the Last Wall protocol. As the 41st Millenium now draws to a close, the Golden Eagles chapter is now facing conflicts and battles on an ever increasing scale and frequency. Most recently in the form of a Chaos Warband known only as the Black Sun Apostles, who dared to raid one of their chapter keeps and made off with one of their most sacred relics, the Fist of Strorion, the skeletal hand of the first Chapter Master and Founder of the Golden Eagles. They are relentless now in the pursuit and recovery of this relic from the Chaos Warband, investigating every lead that comes up that will bring them closer to vengeance and redemption in the eyes of their forbearers. Now in the year 999.M41, the Golden Eagles have tracked down the Black Sun Apostles and the Fist of Strorion to the Death World of Crepuscius. The Heretic Astartes have bunkered themselves in to bide their time to begin a ritual involving the relic that was stolen from the Chapter. At the same time, a force of Necrons led by Trazyn the Infinite himself have arrived on Crepuscius as well, the Archaeovist of Solomnace having his eyes set on the Fist of Strorion himself, wanting it to add to his collection. This distraction of Xenos invaders might bring the distraction the Golden Eagles need to smash the stronghold of the Black Sun Apostles and reclaim their relic before it is too late. Notable Engagements M32 The War of the Beast – The Golden Eagles commit half of their chapter to the defense of the imperium during the Ork invasion by the Warboss known only as The Beast. The other half of the chapter was already engaged in battles around the imperium already. They were part of the Last Wall protocol that was enacted by their parent chapter, the Imperial Fists when that chapter’s numbers had been decimated by the War of the Beast. M34 The First Bassus Crusade – The Golden Eagles fleet takes part in the campaign to retake the planets of the Bassus sector. Their siege operations succeed in breaking several battle lines to help the imperium reclaim the sector. M35 The Purge of Wandering Damnation – The Golden Eagles are called to deal with a Space Hulk that has appeared in realspace. After 7 straight days of clearing the hulk of mutants and cultists they discover the critical power systems. After setting melta charges, the detonations cause a chain reaction which causes the space hulk to splinter into massive fragments. The Chapter fleet then destroys the rest of the fragments with a combination of their fleet’s bombardment cannons and cyclonic torpedos. M36 The Second Bassus Crusade – Chaos Cultists had risen up in the Bassus sector, overtaking several worlds as they laid claim to the sector in the name of the Chaos Gods. Calls for help go mostly unheard due to the current reign of High Lord Goge Vandire. The Golden Eagles however do receive the call for aid and the entirety of the Golden Armada arrives at the Bassus sector to begin their siege to retake the sector for the second time. M37 The Filpus Reclamation – The chapter answers a request for aid from a Adeptus Mechanicus exploratory fleet when they find the worlds of the Filpus sub-sector overrun with an insectoid Xenos race. As the purging of the worlds commences, the chapter comes across an untainted STC Template. The Mechanicus claims the STC and as thanks rewards the chapter with a brand new Battle Barge, which they name the Ankhaarus. M39 The Third Bassus Crusade – The Golden Eagles return to the Bassus Sector as the worlds are now overrun with Ork warbands. The Chapter deploys via massive Drop Pod insertions and slaughter countless millions of the greenskins. During this campaign, then Chapter Master Maelus Pherec succeeds in personally slaying 3 different Ork Warbosses. M41 The Crimson Ruination Campaign (950.M41) – The Golden Eagles set their most ambitious campaign, this time against the Red Corsairs renegades. This was planned in retaliation for their manipulation of their brother chapter, the Executioners during the Badab War, 40 years earlier. Working in tandem with the Imperial Navy the chapter set about to ambush an outlying Red Corsairs stronghold, a captured Ramilies-Class Starfort, that had been renamed the Port Red. Using a nearby nebula to mask their ships, the chapter fleet has the element of surprise as they engage the Star Fort and its defense fleet. The surprise raid catches the Red Corsairs off-guard, never expecting their own tactics to be used against them. In a matter of hours the Star Fort is destroyed with a message to the Red Corsairs that their treachery will never be forgotten or forgiven. The 13th Black Crusade (999.M41) – The Golden Eagles send 3 Battle companies to aid the Cadian System to repel Abbadon the Despoiler’s 13th Black Crusade. Their sieges break the chaos forces battle lines in several spots to hold the planet. When Abbadon hurls fragments of the Blackstone Fortresses into Cadia, the upheaval of the planet by the impacts causes massive casualties as the Chapter has lost more than two-thirds the battle-brothers they had sent in to aid. The Strorion Reclamation Campaign (999.M41 – Present) – A Raid made by the Chaos Warband the Black Sun Apostles on one of the Golden Eagles’ Chapter Keeps has seen the theft of not only weapons, slaves, and gene-seed, but one of their most prized relics, the Fist of Strorion, was stolen as well. The theft of the skeletal hand of their first Chapter Master is a devastating blow to the chapter but has now renewed their resolve to hunt down the heretic astartes and reclaim that which was taken from them. The Indomnitus Crusade (999.M41 – Present) – After the fall of Cadia, the Chapter receives word that the Primarch, Roboute Guilliman has been resurrected. With the Primarch’s resurrection the chapter is reinforced with new Primaris Space Marines. The chapter gets to work as being part of the spearhead for the new Indomnitus Crusade. Recruitment The Golden Eagles recruit from several worlds, primarily from Hive Worlds, Feral Worlds, and Feudal Worlds. Like their parent chapter, they will sometimes aid Hive World governments with clearing out Hive Slums to seek out potential recruits to serve as aspirants. These aspirants will be subject to rigorous trials, testing their skill, resolve, strength, pain endurance, psychic sensitivity, and killer instinct. Those who would survive these trials will become Neophytes and begin the first stages of organ implantation. Chapter Organization The Golden Eagles are a standard Codex-Adherent Chapter, with the standard 1,000 Battle-Brother Strength of the Chapter. These 1,000 are split into 10 battle companies of 100. They also have fully staffed support in the roles of Librarians, Chaplains, Techmarines, Apothecaries, Serfs and Servitors. Homeworld The Golden Eagles Chapter does not have a chapter homeworld, as they are a Fleet-Based chapter and have seen time and again how crippled other chapters have been if their homeworlds are ravaged by Xenos and Traitor attacks. Their fleet consists of 3 Battle Barges, 9 Stike Cruisers, several squadrons of Vanguard, Nova, and Gladius Frigates, along with various support craft numbering 101 ships, which have been dubbed the “Golden Armada”. Chapter Fleet, the "Golden Armada" Chrysaetos (Battle-Barge/Flagship/Fortress-Monastery) Lacrymosa (Battle Barge) Ankhaarus (Battle Barge) Spear of Dorn (Strike Cruiser) Tears of Terra (Strike Cruiser) Light of Vigilance (Strike Cruiser) Rogal’s Righteousness (Strike Cruiser) Sword of the Zealot (Strike Cruiser) Eagle’s Talon (Strike Cruiser) Wings of Vengeance (Strike Cruiser) Spirit of Inwit (Strike Cruiser) Auric Invictus (Strike Cruiser) Combat Doctrine The Golden Eagles chapter utilizes siege assaults. Usually they will unleash volleys of fire from Whirlwind Tanks and Thunderfire Cannons. During these barrages, the chapter’s Vindicator Tanks will move up to unleash their salvos from their Demolisher Cannons to break the enemy battle lines and fortifications. As they break, armoured transports of Rhinos and Razorbacks will roll in with squads of battle-brothers along with squads of bikes to move in and finish off any survivors who haven’t surrendered. Chapter Beliefs The Chapter holds their Primarch, Rogal Dorn in higher regards than many other chapters that descended from the Imperial Fists. They strive on almost the same level as the Imperial Fists themselves to emulate the best traits of Rogal Dorn: his vigilance and his unyielding will, are amongst the most frequently seen by the chapter that they strive to show from their brothers. Their view of the Codex Astartes, laid out by primarch Roboute Guilliman, is one of spiritual guidelines rather that absolute law. They believe the benefits of critical thinking and taking initiative to solve problems that the codex didn’t present solutions to. This allowed for more flexible battle companies, able to overwhelm the enemies of the God-Emperor with effective results, which have strained relations with the Space Marine chapters of the Ultramarines and their successors. They have retorted such criticism with the fact that as gifted as Guilliman was with tactics, that there were enemies and tactics that even he had not encountered in his life, citing the Tyranids and Necrons as prime examples. Gene-Seed The Chapter’s Gene-Seed derives from the Imperial Fists, and as such they do have all the gene-seed implants save for two: The Betcher’s Gland and the Sus-an Membrane. Their Gene-Seed has also retained its purity and has seen no changes or mutations since their founding as well. Notable Golden Eagles Chapter Master Praetin Strorion – Founder and first Chapter Master of the Golden Eagles. Chapter Master Maelus Pherec – Chapter Master during the Third Bassus Crusade, known for killing 3 Ork Warbosses single-handedly with Stormchild and Eagle’s Talon. Chapter Master Cylach Videv – Current Chapter Master, current wielder of the Stormchild and Eagle’s Talon. Chief Librarain Xevaan Haris – Current Chief Librarian Master Sephardon Par – Current Master of Sanctity Master Lynoch Kelis – Current Master of the Forge Master Boreadis Ticles – Current Chief Apothecary Chapter Relics Fist of Strorion: The skeletal hand of the first Chapter Master of the Golden Eagles, Praetin Strorion. Kept preserved in an amber case much like the hand of their Primach, Rogal Dorn on board the Imperial Fists Fortress-Monastery, the Phalanx. Every Chapter Master following Praetin has engraved their name on the bones of the hand, a custom carried over from their founding chapter. Eagle’s Talon: A Master-Crafted Boltgun wielded by the Chapter Master. Said to have been bestowed to the chapter upon their founding. The weapon, along with each Bolter shell that will be fired is consecrated and blessed by both a Chaplain and Techmarine before battle. Stormchild: A relic chainblade said to have been made in the image of Storm’s Teeth, the legendary chainblade wielded by Rogal Dorn. This blade is reserved only to be wielded by the Chapter Master and is carefully and meticulously maintained by the chapter’s Techmarines. Chapter Appearance The chapter’s colours are Gold with Copper Trim, as an homage to the Auric Armour that was worn by Rogal Dorn. Cylach Videv, Current Chapter Master
  12. Movers are currently packing up all my worldly possessions (not my models though, I need those ;-) ) so what better time than now for a brand new Glacial Geek Battle Report?! https://youtu.be/jO9doQUwd9o This time my Dark Angels take on the Imperial Paladins (running Imperial Fist Tactical Doctrines)! The distress call came in to the Imperial Paladins' headquarters. Their flyer had been shot down with the information they had collected on the mysterious Traitor Astartes they had recently captured. A recovery force was sent to gather back the information since the Inquisition seemed oddly interested in it. They arrived on the scene and began searching for the dataslates when they encountered a Dark Angels force. They hailed them on the Vox to coordinate their efforts. The only response they got was a curt demand for them to leave. Well, that was just not going to happen ... Will the Imperial Paladins recover their information or will the Unforgiven retrieve it "for them" instead? Watch and find out!
