Hi All, I've made a video of my Baal Predator which I have magnetized to allow for all weapon systems and also for use as a Razorback, Rhino or regular Predator. Cheers! Please disregard the bad editing; I used free software Would you do it differently? Anything you see worth changing? Thanks and I hope someone finds it useful.

Hi folks, figured I'd start a thread where I dump my WIP and finished pictures, rather than spamming the BA Today thread. First up is my WIP Astorath, which I've decided to do a little more golden than normal, the pictures show base coats and a single wash only, but so far I'm liking him. This is the first model I've used Vallejo Liquid Goild on and I highly recommend it. GW's golds have got nothing on this stuff, though I'm a bit miffed that I can't clean my brushes in plain water anymore. Anyways, here's the pictures (sorry for potato quality, mobile phone cameras are of the debil!)

WIP shot showing my Rhino "upsize" "truescale" or whatever you like. all the doors were loose so i painted them, and then i sticky tack them on for the last few games. so i can save the doors when i prime the rest of the tanks when they are finished construction. so far, very happy with them. they are just a fair bit of work...-

Current WIP status of my Rhinos. i have always felt that rhinos were not big enough. and this only got worse with the new CSM and Primaris marines, and truescale marines etc. its probably still to small, but this was simple enough. should be clear, its just the parts of the current rhino cut and placed on a tamiya M113 kit. plasticard and greenstuff to come.-

From the album: Stormcrow Chapter
Here is a one of my three Rhino models. Two of them are based on this "new-style" chassis. The other is based on the "old-style" first edition Citadel chassis. I wanted a degree of flexibility in how I used them, so added a few bits of plasticard and some gaming magnets and created three models that I can use in different ways, game by game. Each Rhino can either be fielded as a Rhino with one or two storm bolters and a dozer blade (or not). Swap the "lids" and they can be Razorbacks with either H.Flamers, H.Bolters or Assault Cannon. Another swap and one of them can be a Whirlwind (I only have one WW launcher!).-

After a 14 year hiatus, I have returned to the 41st Millennia. I have stepped away from my power armored roots and gone green. The first model that I have built is a looted Rhino/Counts-as Trukk. The Landing Craft, Vehicle, Personnel [LCVP] or Higgins Boat was used extensively during WWII and was the inspiration for this build. I used a Rhino and a Trukk for the body, cab and engine section. Add-on bitz include old pewter Vindicator armor panels, 2nd Edition Trukk parts, a 3rd Edition Killa Kan torso, and a some parts from the Blitza Bomma sprues. The only non-GW parts are the support struts that I added on the bottom from rectangular polystyrene rods and girders, I also used round rod for the ramp hinge, so that I could maintain functionality. The two metal lumps in the middle of the bottom are old Leman Russ turret bitz that I added for forward weight. Many more models and conversions to come, C&C are welcome of course!

You may be aware that I have a keen interest in 3D printing. I still don't have a printer yet (intend to get a Mars 3 Pro) but I thought I might as well make a head start on some things to print when I do. My initial projects have been a bit all over the place. For instance I dove in at the deep end and tried modelling up an entire Hierophant... I later dialed things back a little and started work on a modular goblin kit (which will include 40K gretchin parts)... However, a minor setback from a Blender crash wiping out my work on hats for them got me sufficiently annoyed I decided to take a break from those and instead focus on something else. And thanks to the suggestion of Discord friends that something else turned out to be a Mk.1/Deimos pattern Rhino! Mostly aiming for the shape of the original but with more modern (but not excessive) levels of detail. Will possibly have options for an interior too! Was originally going to give it Matilda II inspired tracks but difficulties with modelling and worries I was overcomplicating the design made me go for much simpler "spiked cleats" instead. Might do some alt tracks though... Unlike the old kit, this has actual full wheels. May do alternate wheels too, for now it has some nice heavy-duty spoked wheels. Doesn't have a full track loop or drive sprockets/idlers as those would not be visible. Also has (non-workable obviously) Christie-style suspension! I'm planning on having 3 different cupola attachments to allow for the same parts to be used for three sizes; "Retro" (same size as the old RT model), "Modern" (same size as the current Rhino), and "Truescale" (not actually true scaled as that would be huge, but a bit bigger than the current one!). It's been a real learning experience and I feel I've gained a lot of knowledge from doing this. If you're a 3D guy I'd highly recommend stepping outside of your comfort zone; mine was irregular organic sculpts and I feel I've massively improved by doing this.
